It feels like a lot of different characters are about to be converging on Jacqui’s house for some sort of confrontation. Erin, Miriam, and Jacqui are already there, under some amount of influence from Jakob. Adrian, Mallory, Mariliese, Dani, and Raven are coming with the watch to undo Jakob’s control. Reka is coming at Miriam’s invitation, likely to be corrupted like Jacqui has been. And now Aiken and Amalthea are coming, likely because Aiken can sense something off with Erin and is also looking to help. I think this might be what finally gives us the plot behind the cover for the volume, with Erin reaching out with her powers either against Aiken at Miriam’s behest or against Miriam at Aiken’s.
