I think we're just seeing one mind at work... no matter how much you compartmentalize, same writer will bring common phrases and themes (unless that was sarcasm but, even then, I answer rhetorical questions, too).
My question is: did Charlotte drop out of Micah's play (that he convinced her to join) to go full-time on her new "boyfriend" (that, somehow, Micah doesn't mind sharing with)?
I can almost like Micah as a controller with his unfortunate harem-building motivation because it was sprinkled with a little pragmatic "AND good actresses can be in my plays". Him just loaning out Charlotte like chattel (I imagine Noah is in cahoots with Micah somehow) is... just like a bunch of other controller guys. I'm hoping something like... he needed a male lead and traded Charlotte to Noah to secure his place in the play. Apparently, I've decided that Micah is a director first and a harem-builder second. I should know better but that's where I think this question (and paragraph) is coming from.
Enjoyable re-reading of Charlotte's entire arc with my coffee this morning.
