Personally, I get turned off by the whole tentacle monster thing. I can deal with one issue of that sort of thing, maybe two. But repeatedly getting exposed to that sort of thing just makes my skin crawl. Make no mistake, I understand that everyone has their own preferences, and stuff I like might make others feel the same way. I just can't handle disease- or vermin- or infestation-based control for more than a short time... and my tolerance for that sort of thing has dropped precipitously in the past 12 months, for obvious reasons.

Does Vector bother you the same way?

For me, there's a line - when tentacles are gross for the sake of being gross, it gets icky. I generally do like human female x nonhuman male pairings as long as the male monster isn't gross.

Oh man, Vector. That's a story that I'd love to see get a few more issues.

The tentacle monster in Drains is definitely not my bag, especially as the monster design has gotten a lot more...textured over time. But I do appreciate the site's commitment to variety, and running into the things that I'm not into really helps me better understand and appreciate the things that I do like.

Loved this issue. The pinprick eyes were such a great addition. AVA continuing to knock this out of the park!

I just noticed this series was in the long box. How am I supposed to find out if Dave's sister escapes or is ensnared? The suspense!

Well it is in The Long Box folder, which is: "Completed titles, and those on hiatus. Boarded and archival bagged, each one."

Just noticed this one was long-boxed. So sad. I was dying to see how it wasn't going to end up with the whole world enslaved.
