Well, if it’s the joke I know, it’s about a simple tale about a wife, her lover and a cuckold; all French, of course, so all very civilised – but somehow I think Daphne won’t have a completely straightforward tale to tell....

But seriously, I rather enjoyed this. Art is wonderful with a lot of great period detail and other subtle touches like the background changing to that swirly pattern when The Offer is made. Story isn’t the first thing I’d reach for, but was still engaging. Solid entry overall.

I should explain. When I think of cuckolding, I think of a man who watches passively while his wife fucks another man--usually one who is stronger and more virile than he. The whole scenario is designed for the maximum humiliation of the man being cuckolded. Not my idea of a good time.
I didn't get that sense of humiliation in this story. Yes, the husband sees his wife fucking another man--but he isn't made to stand by helpless--something the MCer could easily have done. The only one getting humiliated and degraded is the wife, with the husband complicit in the act by accepting the MCers offer to make her his sex slave.
So while we do have a cheating wife, the husband is not, to my mind, a cuckold. Apologies for not making that clear.
