I actually thought that's what he and Jacqui were discussing.  Ezra telling Pearl everything.  Perhaps in stages.

I'm not your father....time to absorb and react to that.

I know who your half-brother is...time to absorb and react to that.

Although it could very easily be that Jacqui's call to the Cavanaughs was a preparatory step for her telling Pearl the whole truth (whatever that may be).

Also, Rain presumably knows about all this.  Not consequential or gamechanging enough for her intervention? Huh
