Just wanting to let everyone know that PK and I have written a free, online comic. We are only 11 pages into uploading it (it's weekly) but thought some of the members here might like to read it and bookmark it. The art is by Eliseu Gouviea (Google him!) - "Zeu" is a Portuguese comics artist and freelance illustrator with many years of experience illustrating comics, children's books and school books. More recently, his work includes work on Lady Death, as a Marvel Comics sketch card artist and in The Phantom, written by Mike Bullock for Moonstone Books. Moonstone Books also published a mini-series, which he created, called Infiniteens and a mini-series written by Justin Gray called Vengeance of the Mummy. Of note, he has previously worked with Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray on Image Comics one-shot Cloudburst.Colours, lettering and the website all by me. Legend has it that the djinn were forced into slavery, bound to objects, such as lamps, seals and rings.
Granted is the story of one of those djinn. Ginny is a spirit as old as civilization, who is bound to the ring and whoever bears it. She must grant their wishes, but doesn't always like it.
Like Ginny, Granted is a conundrum, the mysteries of which will unfold over time. The characters will frustrate and engage you. You will love them and hate them, but, eventually, our wish is that you care about them. Okay, this looks awesome!! And I'm already confused, which I take as a good sign.
One thing--I looked up the youtube vid. Is Tatiana Brickman's current squeeze with potential to be Wife X, or someone who's dallying with Elliot for amusement? Also, I have another more practical question. I'll try PM first.
