The conversations in panels 1-3 seem fairly straightforward Nonetheless, panel 3 raises all sorts of really fun questions about the Mantis Squad.
Panel 4 is murkier. The substance of Jacqui's comments makes sense, but her intended audience is something of a puzzle. When this started, she was talking to Erin. However, Erin seems understandably distracted at the moment. Mallory and Marliese appear to be trying to comfort Jacqui but they appeared to be otherwise engaged at the beginning of the conversation. So, context and intent are in question. Is Jacqui maybe verbalizing one of her first heartbreaks as a form of therapy independent of an audience?
Hmm.
Bits of the conversation between Dani and Ein in panels five and six are also confusing. What is Dani's last question? "Are you still..."?
Unsatisfied? Horny? Attracted to men at all? Under Johannes' influence?
Any of these or a myriad of other possibilities could make sense. But, I can't tell if Ein is correctly anticipating Dani's question (whatever it is or could have been) or if she's merely realizing and/or admitting her own frustration.
Regardless, this is a sexy and entertaining installment. I love the set-up of Adrian as a prime candidate to give Ein some relief.
The possible similarities in the way both Kuppler brothers treat women is also interesting.
