This sounds promising.  Finally some detail on the effects of the ritual?

Maybe.  Or maybe it'll be a look inside Pearl's mind with Erin and Adrian trying to sort things out (with problematic assistance from Dani).

I guess I'll have to hope that Erin's expression a couple episodes ago was just her reaction to the ritual working, like a snapshot of her reaction to entering Pearl's mindstream, and not an indication that she's over her head or absorbing an attack from somewhere.

Very sexy. I suppose the key thing is who is making the last observation.

Fantastic stuff.  I don't say this lightly, but this may be some of the best art we have seen from SJI.  The fact that the MC is so hot makes it even better.

I don't know how you keep doing so, but you've outdone yourselves once again.  And, as GodWilling points out, we don't know who is making the last statement.  Waiting for part 2.

Thank you so much for saying that...we both looked at the finished page and decided it may well be one of our best for SJI...it's really very heart warming to have you say so Smiley

I'd just like to add to the chorus of 'fantastic work.'

Agreed.  I'm a little sad that something this gorgeous focuses on Q, though.Wink

What?  Q is in this one?

[looks closely]

So you're right.  I can't imagine why I didn't really pay any attention to him.

Yes, the lucky bum is mostly buried under the gorgeousness that is Pearl.  But that's kind of my point.  Plus, the plot seems to pivot on him here.

This looks like it's exploring the same events as guest comics g19-g20.  The scene with Pearl lying on top of Q, with him saying "Yeah, you do.  It's OK" and her replying "Yeah, it is" is in both g20 and 329.  My guess is that g20 represents what Pearl remembers, which implies that 329 is the reality.  It's probably Pearl saying "This isn't how it happened" because her memories don't match this scene that Erin's magic has dredged up.

That's my take on it too.  My main interest in this subplot now is how Miriam chooses to process the revelation.

I'm still hoping to learn something about Jakob Kuppler.  Miriam is easily hot enough to be the target of more than one mind controller, and it does seem like he might have had the chance.
