Interesting typographical error there.  :-)

Very happy to see another issue of this, can't wait until it comes out.

Glad to see this long-unfinished comic wrapped up.  I like the understated way that the three who escape are hinted to be together.  I also thought that the century-old surveyor and his wife was mostly a sad story, but sweet inasmuch as they could stay together (sort of) even beyond death.

Thanks for finishing this one.

"Too much to dream last night"?

Regardless, an interesting end.  Since the three have no memory, they'll never be back.  The surveyor has lost his inhibitions since his loyalty is done.

Not a typo. :)

That was my favourite line.  Very evocative, and so true.

That was nice.  If the series ends here it would be a nice happy ending, and I loved the skeleton shot where the real world was intersecting with the fey world.  What can I say, I'm a fan of Shakespeare and this had just the right feel of Midsummer's Night Dream.  I wanted to see a second issue the second I read the first and this was everything I wanted.

I really wanted to read this. Unfortunately, the Mind Control webcomics website uses the most convoluted, backwards systems for accepting payment that I've ever seen.

Seriously? I either have to link my bank account / social security number to a "Dwolla" account, or I have to MAIL a CHECK? What is this, 1985?!

Just start accepting PayPal or processing credit payments yourself.

You're new around here, aren't you?

Yes, actually, I am. Woe onto me for my "newness", I guess. I just read the thread about payment methods.

I find it extremely hard to believe that with the sheer number of pornographic sites out there that accept a plethora of payment options, you're limited to checks via snail mail or Dwolla. At the very least, you must have the ability to accept E-checks?

Nope; no US banks are (to the best of our knowledge) opening new e-check accounts for smaller adult merchants.

Look, I understand how incredible this may seem, but we've been fighting this for over two years now.

The reality is: Mind control and hypnosis are specifically banned by Visa and MasterCard. Not by implication, and not part of a general rule against "non-consensual sex." By name. This creates some challenges for us.

We're working on new solutions, but these things (sadly) take time.

My apologies if I sounded harsh, but I hate Dwolla. Past experience with them has been...less than pleasant.

Okay! Finally a spot of time so I can continue reviewing. Last thing I read was Good People #1, so I'm eager to see this issue and the next segment of the story.

I'm trying something new here- commenting as I go so I can give an honest first impression point of view. I'm not sure how long that will last, if I get too wrapped up in the story. Heh.

So I really like the cover. It's a good continuation of the theme set with Good People 1's cover. It's well drawn. The faces are definitely done differently, so I was immediately reminded of Daphne's comment about there being a different artist for this one. (Sure enough, new name right there on the cover!)

So I was paying close attention to the art on page 1, even flipping back to issue #1 to compare. Yes, things are drawn a little differently, but I was happy to see that the spirit of the comic, or the tone set in issue 1 if you'd prefer, is consistent. So definitely no complaints. I'd put my first impression of Mau's art as solidly good, though I'll definitely be on the lookout for anything drawn by Tim in the future.

The lettering was a little difficult to read at first. I think I got used to it, and it provides a touch of otherworldly feel. I can see why the design team went with it. Also, reading on, I realize it's only used for the Fey Folk. That was a nice touch!

Page 2, and Thomas is decidedly Bad-Ass. It's really cool to see, in a universe where people's wills are taken quite suddenly, someone who has enough internal strength to go "you can control me, but you can't own me."

REALLY good facial expressions on page 4. As I continue on, some of the sex scenes (like the panel at the bottom right of page 5, and the lower half of page 8) are simply fantastic. Also, the skeletons on page 5 are chilling.

I'm not sure if this issue just got better as it was drawn, or if I got used to the new art style, but the nude shots keep looking sexier, and everything just seems to be getting better.

Finished the issue, and I can't help but feel like Thomas is a victor even in his captivity. It was quite awesome.

I hope to see more from this series, but this definitely brings the beginning story arc to a neat close. I like how the three 'newbie' humans were compelled and helplessly trapped under the mighty Fey Will throughout the entire time. It definitely brought out something special to see people controlled so utterly, but still have the story end happily. Also, the fact that Thomas seemed to grow an inner strength during his time with the court says intriguing things about the possibilities in future issues. Granted, it took him 100 years, but...

Overall, I'd have to rate this one as definitely upholding the standard set by the first issue. The story concluded satisfactorily, left hints for future issues, and showed some great mind controlled sex along the way.

Job well done!!

This WAS a good story with a great ending, and I'm fine leaving it there.  That said, some kind of sequel would be cool.

Not all the same characters, those mortals' story is told.  Maybe some of the fae along with some new faces and possibly Honest Thomas and his wife.  They might be too busy sporting with others.

I could also see a series based on this formula: Mortals stumble into Tir Na Nog, the faeries sport with them and want to keep them, and Thomas finds some at least partially honest way to convince them to let mortals go.  The king might even enjoy losing their little debates because they're an interesting diversion.

Again, fine the way it is.  Ain't broke, no need to fix it.  I just see possibilities there.
