Is Stephen in control, is the new girlfriend in control, or is Stephen repeatedly losing girlfriends to the same nefarious mind-controlling rival? There are probably two other scenarios I'm not thinking of.

I've got to say I'm a fan of H Sefra's art, too. A very nice and clean style, well-suited to comics. His current girlfriend doesn't know she's mind controlled and thus is confused by her actions. You'll note that he slipped something in his ex-girlfriend's cup, and his current girlfriend found a way to get a drink to Duncan.
