Penelope is really interesting, but An Education edged it out in my vote, mostly because while good as it is Penelope is marginal on the actual mind control. I would love to buy a graphic novel of it, though. I want to know where the story goes.

Post by: lancehunter on February 22, 2022, 06:44:44 am Another voice in support of Penelope, even though my votes went elsewhere (Expanded Universe stays winning with its lighthearted fun, and SJI had a really great 2021). Even if Penelope just steers fully into being a cyberpunk noir and doesn't really include any mc or erotic content, it's a story I'd want to keep reading.
