Title: What have we never done that we should? (essay question)
Post by: Daphne on July 04, 2020, 01:16:31 pm
What's something you've always wanted to see in an MCC comic that we've never done? (Obviously, the Forbidden Things are still forbidden, and try to be serious here. :) )

I suppose Hypnotized and dominated celebrities, like Catherine Zeta-Jones or Salma Hayek or Jennifer Hudson, or even Mae West or Jayne Mansfield, are still on the list of Forbidden Things.  Are you sure you won't reconsider that?  Because I remember that CHIC Magazine (sister magazine to HUSTLER during the 80s) had nude paintings of celebs as a regular feature--Olivia Newton-John was one of them, and Goldie Hawn was another.  Excellent artwork, and the nudes were quite believable.  And when it comes to Hypnotized porn, anything the other guys can do--you can do better.

On a somewhat related note, I was thinking you could have a Hall Of Fame Gallery, which would be artwork depicting great moments in Hypnosis Fetish, such as--

*Eddie Hypnotizing Nora in She Did What He Wanted.
*Jeannie sitting serenely in trance in front of Dr. Sheckle in Hypnotic Sensations.
*Gila being Hypnotized to become a Pleasure Unit in Our Man Flint.  Gila and Mr. Whipple are in the foreground, while in the background Flint creeps up, ready to apply the carotid artery grip.
*Korvo Hypnotizing Ann Sutton in Whirlpool.
*Betty Bigones getting Hypnotized in Takin' It Off.
*The final scene in Virgin Dreams, where Jamie Gillis Hypnotizes his hot psychiatrist Suzi Suzuki.
*The Maestro Hypnotically dominating Pamela Peaks, Sofia Staks and Zebra in Hypnovideo's Ladies Of Las Vegas 5+6.

I don't know as you've had a story set in the Eighties yet.  As I've said before, Eighties porn is my favorite, having been the porn I "grew up" with all those years ago.  And as I've also said, if there's any such thing as "Come-Fuck-Me" hair, it the way women wore their hair in the Eighties.  (Ditto on the outfits, especially the one worn by actresses in porn movies.)  It could be a sex comedy like so many back then that went straight to video, or an erotic thriller--like so many back then that went straight to video.

There was a short series of movies by porn legend Gregory Dark called Shocking Truth, (http://www.iafd.com/results.asp?searchtype=comprehensive&searchstring=Shocking+Truth) where a porn star sat in a big chair while an off-camera voice questioned her about her sexual tastes and proclivities, and then a porn scene was built around that.  You could do something like that with Faux Hypnosis, or possibly even Real Hypnosis.  Some of the questions could be--

"The Hypnotist tells you that he is your Master, and that you must obey his every command.  Do you accept that?  If so, why?"

"Your best girlfriend comes to you and tells you she's been Hypnotized to obey you.  What do you have her do?"

"What do you think about when you're sucking cock (or eating pussy, or being ass-fucked?)"

"You're Hypnotized, and you must obey the Hypnotist.  What does he command you to do?"

"Which of your friends would make a good Hypnotized slave?"

"Do you think you should be Hypnotized?"

"Do you think you should be obedient?"

Some of those questions would be good material for a sequel to The Brothel, where the subject is interrogated about the sexuality to find out what kind of Hypnotized whore she should be.

I hope you can find at least one of those suggestions useful.  I look forward to when Mind Control Theatre can start shooting again with more than one actress on camera.

Stuff you've never done before? I'll give it a try.

A woman mind controlled into a breeding kink/mind controlled into wanting to be pregnant by her controller.

A world (perhaps fantasy or sci-fi) where mind control is relatively normalized, and mind control (especially of women) is seen as part of a normal, healthy relationship. Like you've kinda done stuff like this before, but not really gone whole-hog with it.

Having a monster mind controller who's intelligent and relateable, unlike the tentacles in Drains. Like a dragon or werewolf or something.

EDIT: Heh, just had a thought of Erin in SJI being skittish about having kids and being mind controlled, either by Adrian or by her daughter projecting back into the past, to be super down. And more in a "Dammit, Erin/Mom, get with the program" way than something that would have a lot of angst associated with it. Cracked me up a bit.

I just want to mention that even if it weren't legally tricky to put real celebrities in stories like this, it honestly would be a bit of a turnoff for me. I'm more interested in stories with characters, not someone's e-crush.

I don't remember any stories that used mind control tech. Things like microchips implanted in the skull that direct thought, a tiny radio in the ear with a voice message that subliminally influences the wearer, etc. An optic projector that makes the victim "see" spirals that entrance them before they receive visual commands. Could even be something as campy as a mind control helmet that puts the wearer in direct control of the operator, who uses a joystick and microphone to move the wearer around like a marionette.

Also, it isn't something you've never done, but fully lesbian mind control stories (that is, stories where there is not a man who is ultimately dominating the plot) are rare here.

Well, there's only one thing I can say to that--

Phoo.

Here's an idea you might like better--Tijuana Bibles. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tijuana_bible)  Eight page single panel comics, not much on character development but really great when it comes to humor and hardcore sex.  And the Hypnosis aspect would be a great fit for the simplicity of the storylines.

Anyway, I hope you like my other ideas.

To play off the "fully lesbian" comment, there hasn't really been that much of a truly decentralized serial conversion. Drains gets kind of close with how the transformed now have tentacles in them but it is still mostly about a lab experiment monster at the core.

The more decentralized thing could be more of an out of control meme or popular song (well a song might make it basically Audiophilia sans dude). Basically an idea. It could be purely the idea that is propagated by speech or text or those inducted/converted could build/use some form of technology or use magic to convert more. How women become witches could work. For instance, take the witches from Jack the Giant Killer (one of the hotter witch transforms imo) and the idea of transforming women to achieve the goal of the witches (like how the hand maiden was transformed off screen so they could get the next in line to be queen). Remove the Pendragon character (and his revenge motive) and make it about the witches just enjoying being their "liberated" evil selves and adding more women by means of magical conversion is how they reproduce. Vampires are frankly a form of this (in this regard Take Out is actually quite close). Vampires just feel a bit played out as a specific form of this (that and the physical addition aspect never really did it for me).

Another way to think about it that is more tech driven is the Borg. Essentially, the Borg are an out of control drive to achieve the idea of "perfection" with organic life. Well at least they were decentralized until the introduction of the Queen character. A representative drone is fine (essentially what Locutus was) but the queen character just kind of felt too in charge. If the "queen" was obviously a different drone that was temporarily given that title and it rotated quite often it might have helped make it less about a singular ego rather than the relentless idea of perfection that they were at the start. Okay enough nerding on that.

Anyway, the serial conversion part wouldn't necessarily need to be a goal of converting everyone. It would probably be more interesting if the out of control meme was somehow selective. Gig Economy is kind of close in this regard because the app is not really a person and there doesn't seem to be any drive to make every woman a gig employee. Essentially, capitalism is the out of control idea in that story. It mostly lacks the serial conversion bit (we don't really see the on boarding process).

Anyway, you've done a ton of different kinds of comics so outside of more radical transformations (Faerie Tale was doing this with the mermaid stuff near the end) it is actually kind of hard to think of something that you haven't at least touched upon.

Still waiting for my shenanigans in the court of the Sun King. Picture it: a small group of court nobility getting up to no good with the latest baubles imported from Northern Africa at great expense!

If you can get HMB on it, we will get lots of great stonking french hairdos too!

A cross-over!

You could have the Honey Dahls start showing up in different titles;  since their time jumps pretty much inevitably  have them getting into kinky MC escapades anyways.

Ah The Three MCteers. They stopped the nefarious plotting of Cardinal Richelieu, but can they defeat the machinations of the Man in the Iron Mask?

There's a bunch of things you started but which didn't pan out that I'd like to see retried, or which were bonuses that never developed beyond that point.

Victorian/steampunk animal magnetism ("The Green Sign", "Animal Magnetism") (though the Martian Harem plays well in the genre).
Stage Hypnotism with Nefarious Hypnotist (only really off-stage in "After the Show")
Aliens with superior tech who want to subjugate humanity through Mind Controlled Slaves (that one came out of an EMCSA story whose title I can't remember, involving a bunch of inept aliens and some college girls swimming in a pond near their landing site, or could be closely tangential to "Drains")
Suddenly Superhuman ("Roomie Problems", "Miss Thursday", "Behind the Door")

And also:
Vampires (SO much room for a decent vampire story!)
Witchcraft gone sideways (why is it always a lust demon?)
Someone needs to do a clone of "Lost Girl" where the succubus really likes using her powers

I'd like to see some consensual hypnosis- maybe something that looks at the sort of things the erotic hypnosis community are playing with now.

I like a lot of the ideas here; notably a society with normalized mind control as part of healthy relationships, more fully lesbian content, more fully decentralized recruitment, a more relatable monster controller, and breeding kink all definitely grabbed me.

Also, I always enjoy transformations, and wouldn't mind seeing some we haven't seen yet. Animal (especially hybrid) transformations come to mind.

Maybe an alpha werewolf starting a new pack whose strong pheromones make other werewolves suggestible/controllable regardless of what form they're currently in?

Or I really like having The Waiting Room on both MCT and MCC, and would love to see a Bottled comic.

I'd like to see some of the best stories from EMCSA done as comics or graphic novel

for example, I'd love to see

OK, technically you've done this type of idea before, but who cares we're ignoring that.

Here's my "What If?" pitch for beyond rubies.

Our antagonist, George Monsonis of Beyond Rubies originally was a low-key nefarious take-over-the-world (muahahaha) james bond antagonist. Here he's different. "Different how?" you might ask. Well, he's fundamentally still the same guy same position, except that his agreeableness grew three sizes bigger as a boy.

So rather than spec the rubies to degrade half of humanity into actual sex slaves, the rubied ladies are closer to bdsm slaves.

Could you elaborate on the difference?

It seems to me that there are many avenues open in the above respect for instance parodies, I remember in the 70s there were quite a few soft porn films eg Pinocchio who whenever he lied his prick would get bigger instead of his nose or Zorro who was forever bedding women or the Emperor Ming from Flash which was a parody of Flash Gordon.

Then there are historical figures such as the Pharaohs, the Borgias, Henry viii and Louis xviv.

There are also 50s B movies that lend themselves open to parodies, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Creature from the black lagoon, it came from outer space and the Thing to name a few.

The there are couple of films with interesting premises The Mephisto Waltz staring Alan Alda about swapping one's mind to lenthen your life and Fallen with Denzel Washington in which a fallen angel inhabits peoples bodies and makes them commit murders.

I hope this may be of some help

Something else I'd love to see is less "nerdy white guy" protagonists.

Nerdy girl protagonists mind controlling someone, husky, jock-like guys as mind controllers... there's a lot more possibilities there. As a nerdy guy myself, I don't really self-insert as the protagonists in these stories (though it does bother me when they're foolishly moralistic), so I don't need them to look or seem like me.

Also, relatable monster mind controllers and/or breeding kink still sound fun.

Could you elaborate on the difference?

Let me describe in terms of how the rubies would theoretically work:
rather than have the rubies upgraded to be painfully powerful, like the later half of the comic, they remain subtle and sublimate like with the first 4-5 girls we see.

Put another way its the difference between softcore pornography and hardcore pornography. The george monsonis of beyond rubies is clearly more of a hardcore guy, whereas the story plays out completely differently if he's more of a gentle softy fellow. And you know, not fucking other peoples wifes. Kinda an asshole move there, georgie.

* Not enough Daphne stories.  IIRC only two Daphne prose stories have been translated into comics.  More would be great.

* And the converse.  I realize that it isn't a comic, but I'd love to see some of the completed stories adapted into prose.  "Obedience" cries out for a prose adaptation.

* A comic adaptation of "Good to the Last Drop".  Yup.
