Adrian.  Now is not the time to be "fashionably late."

He's already late.   The question was whether he'd stay that way.

There’s fashionably late, and then there’s too late. Homeboy is definitely coming, but which he’ll be remains to be seen.

I couldn't work out if Zenon is supposed to have inadvertently released Vik in the last panel - he doesn't look very securely held. The ideal outcome here will be if Adrian goes through all the usual channels to rise like Lazarus, and is then killed again by Vik landing on him.

Maybe Cherry can do something useful with her last bit of existence and eliminate both Z and Vik.  Vik is the Black Knight of Acherlon of this story so far.  Or so it seems.

Maybe Vik will land on Zenon and kill them both. But the plot will die with them.

Not a non sequitur: Something something The Expanse is really good and I would encourage consideration of watching and/or reading it, now that season 4 is coming in December and the penultimate book 8 in March of next year.

I concur.  I was really bummed when the tv series got cancelled and elated when Amazon picked it up.  I hope they don't screw it up.

Although discussion of The Expanse might be more appropriate on the Free Trade Zone thread...

As far as we know the blood monster took the cop from the hospital but she came out of The Cloud alive. Why do Vik and Zenon have to be dead?

you mat right on Vik, but see the car crash that Zenon had with a telephone pole most people do not live (sji-i875) yes  all see he out side the car, so he still live.
real life that motor would push up to the driver and on high rate of speed to do that.

The monster might have pushed the car into... whatever that is, to stop Zenon escaping. Zenon may not have been in it at the time.
