I hope it's a smiley.  I remember one comic that had a HAL situation developing that was a rough experience.  Art looks good and it could be a very interesting concept.  Also, it's nice to see the imprint logo.  Haven't seen it in awhile.

I love how the lighting portrays him as a villain without him having to say or do anything overtly villainous.  Great start!!

BWAHAHAHA!!! That 2nd to last panel... Brandon looks like such a massive, shit-eating tool. Or exactly as ridiculous as a stallion inhaling the scent of a mare. I love it. Not every controller has to be a DFD (Don Fucking Draper) And of course the literal money shot is excellent as well. Not sure how to phrase what I like about the art, but I do like it. Same with the slow burn. It's nice that you mix up your storytelling. Good first issue; very much looking forward to more.
