Okay, I gotta admit the time loop scenario was interesting.

To be honest, however, going back in time to make several hot girls into the sex slaves of your younger self is something I wouldn't really want to try. Can you say 'butterfly effect'? I mean, even if you assume that he believed that he could control every element of the situation (which is pure hubris, IMO), there's the possibility of something going sideways. Don't get me wrong, my understanding of physics is not so simplistic that  I believe you suddenly go *POOF!* if you get yourself involved in a grandfather paradox. But to be honest, I wouldn't want to try a temporal manipulation that is likely to have a direct impact on my own life, much less one with that specific intention. I get that the elder version feels it's a requirement, just like John Connor does in the Terminator series, but even so, I feel a great deal has been left unasked, unexplained, perhaps even ignored in favor of presenting a story that ends quickly, without trying to address all the little questions that remain.

Ah but who's to say everything turns out right for Futureboy? Leave things open for the sequel in case there is interest. Who knows how many attempts it took to get this right?

Besides, now he has to deal with Doctor Brown and Doctor... Whatever his name is. The British dude. And don't forget what happened to John Connor once the good writing left town.

What if he's just fulfilling his own origin story? He's not changing the past, he's just making sure that what happened to him happens again.

It's not really Daphne's style to explain all these things though.

I always liked this particular series and I thought this was a very satisfying, if very predictable, end. (We all knew that was old David all along, right?) I'm glad these send-offs are getting extra-length comics to let them go out in style. On another note, it's amazing to me that this series is over four years old now.

Of course, he might not have realised that he was revisiting his past to start with. The best story along that line I've encountered is Heinlein's By His Bootstraps - although there the slavegirls were prefabricated!

That's exactly the idea I got at the end. And it was a good ending, even if I also suspected it since the computer started to take commands from him.

Thanks a lot for finishing this story!

You can't seriously end the series like that! :o :'( ??? >:(  Please tell me that somewhere down the line, there's going to be a sequel.  I mean come on, not only does David have a harem and the means to expand it, the alien slaver finally shows his face and says that this was all meant to happen?  What the heck is with that?!  I hope we see a sequel by early next year at the latest.

The sequel is the prequel is the interstitial. All of this has happened before, and all of it will happen again. The student is the master. There is no beginning and no end. Herp derp loopty loop. Brain *EXPLODES* !!!
