Like the sculpture turned her into some sort of idealized sex goddess.
Definitely interested in meeting some of the other women our protagonist has sculpted, though. But he did mention at one point that she felt like a "sex goddess or sacred prostitute;" I'm thinking that's exactly what he made her into when he finished that statue and she's using her newfound abilities to create a following of equally horny women to serve as acolytes in her worship of her new boyfriend.
