She's gotten into too many compromising situations for easy belief. I really hope she's still faking them out. It would be very interesting to see her open up a can on Julian and Cherry.

Derek knows the hypnotic trigger Zenon used. We've seen nothing to indicate that the trigger wouldn't still work on Caitlyn. If Derek were smart enough to use Caitlyn to get the crystal for him, it's fairly likely he'd send her off armed. But like I say... As far as whether the pendant actually worked on Caitlyn goes, she took the gun for use in negotiations with Cherry and Julian. I'm not sure why she'd have pretended to go along with the pendant thing, and then go off with Derek, leaving C&J to possibly get away with Johannes before she could properly deal with Mr Hair-on-backwards. I suspect Derek's mistake was to have her call him Master. Whatever the truth is, I really don't want her to have been faking... The pendant was instrumental in the Zenon-Derek plan. Dani had been subjected to the watch's programming but the pendant appeared to work on her. I stress appeared (although actually I stressed her). She of course was an ex- of Derek when she went for her session with Zenon. Derek actually said two interesting things in the previous episode: "get the crystal back" and "in Wilmot". Why Wilmot? Why not pretty much anywhere and everywhere else? Derek lives in Newark. He knows all about Claudia and the New York harem. My assumption was that he was only in Kearsarge to do Zenon's dirty work. |
