Bad, bad news.  I was wondering when they'd check for that.

Yes, horrific news.  Particularly since it appears that it's either Q or mystery person who ran them off the road who retrieved it.  I suppose I could hop that that's Sawyer and Jacqui could just get the thing from him.  However, with the watch damaged, it appears that it might fall into Kupler hands again--which is really UNIMAGINABLY bad.  Of course, we might have just seen Zenon's foot for the very first time (not that that's much better).

My totally uninformed theory is that the mystery person in the car is Derek.  Angry at being embarrassed by Dani and Adrian, upset with the berating he got from Claudia, and driven slightly insane from having had but lost a relationship with the wonderful Dani, he has decided to take matters into his own hands.

Totally uninformed, mind you.

It will be interesting to see whether the fact that the watch is damaged/broken will play into the story at all.  In the mean time, this has got to count as a major loss to team Adrian, and will certainly put them on the defensive.

Wild hypothesis: Vik is the driver.  He lost it after Adrian stole his girlfriend and tried for revenge.  Now he haz Watch.

Is that what those hashtags meant?  I thought it was just supposed to be the tone of voice talking to himself.  If it is someone not speaking English--it could be Vik, but I doubt it.  I'd say either Zenon muttering to himself in his native tongue, on the the Kuplers who just dropped out of the sky, or a new player.

Angle brackets, like this < ... >, are a comics convention which means, "The speaker is talking in a foreign language, and this is the English translation."

I kind of wish you had used the original language and it read "Shmerpti berpti Berp Bork bork bork bork"  which would lead us to conclude, the culprit was raised by Swedish Chefs or spent time in a Swedish kitchen.   A distraction, or red herring  but a damn good one!

Then, we'd be asking for the translation--but an indication of what language is being used might help ground us with our driver's origin (and possibly his agenda).  What is Zenon's ancestry, by the way?
