If this were Raven that would be Super Hot!   Just because that's so Un-Raven.

Okay, two things.

1. I can't seem to trigger the pop-up text on this page or the previous one.

2. And more importantly...this is Raven?  Look seems more like blissed out Hitomi, but the background suggests Raven.  Which leads me to another question.

3. Why is this Raven?  We haven't seen her suffer the migraines or the lust fever, is she just trying to drive Erin wild with desire?  Is she living out a fantasy?  What?

Whether it's Raven or Hitomi, we still desperately need context.  Although, I have to say that I'm thrilled with getting a bonus issue, but I'm flummoxed (in spite of the gorgeous art).

There is one possibility that just occurred to me.  Is it possible that the woman we saw undressing in 178 isn't the same woman we see redressed and admiring herself in 179? ??? ;)

Oh, for goodness' sake. This is Hitomi.

In Page 178 Hitomi is dress up and 179 is the finsh of her work to go out

I was hoping it was Raven because of the total change to her normal image.

A bit off topic but the Perfume effect...

I think Kanti wore the sari under suggestion  but I was wondering
How far off a woman's normal path would this perfume change be able to take her.

Example:  if someone gave Jaqui a wiff and told her her normal dress code would be 3 ring circus clown ( in an act of revenge for past wrongs)
Would she comply, or would it be too far out of her sphere that shed only wear bright clothes and excess makeup?

Going back to the clock tower :

Effects include:  headache,increased breast and bum size,  loss of body fat,  increased sexual appetite, and
heightened moral and sexual suggestibility?

Correct or add if I'm wrong.

I've been perceiving this as quite different, but again, we have a paucity of information.

We have confirmed

1. the first stage is migraine headache.  This seems to be day one.  We saw this happen to Hitomi and Amy's sister...Hayley, but we see that it is happening all over campus and those suffering symptoms are showing up in force for diagnostic help and pain relief at Marli's office.

2. The second stage seems to be a heightening of arousal and attraction specifically directed at the roommate of the subject.  I have nicknamed this stage "lust fever."  This seems to be a ramping up of the effect that led to the roommate coupling experiement during which Patrick Cavanaugh and Miel Dauphin met.  It is unclear if this stage engenders attraction where none existed before because we don't have enough examples.  Events at the Honeywell apartment would have led me to say yes, but there's a history there.  Besides Amy and Hayley, we've seen Hitomi hit this stage, but nobody else.  Also of note, there doesn't seem to be the frenzied coupling that characterized the '83 experiment...which I also can't figure out.

3. This stage is unknown because we only have the one example.  Hitomi changed her look and wardrobe, but it's unclear where she is, admiring this transformation.  We haven't seen other corroborating examples of it.  We don't know what her goal was...well, I don't know what her goal was.

So the properties I can confirm are

A. Initial Migraine
B. Lust fever (slight temperature, accompanied by marked increase in libido)

That's it.  I can't categorically deny physical attribute change, but I can't confirm it either.  My takeaway is that the twins are still identical and that Hitomi's physical changes are probably attributable to the Mantis effect.

I'm not sure about the moral suggestibility part.  Hitomi was strongly attracted to Caitlyn, but apparently didn't act on it...even yet.  We don't know if she had a little crush or suppressed curiosity, or if this is all completely new to her.

Where is this mirror in which Hitomi's admiring herself?  Is this the dorm room she shares with Cait?  If so, why the corkboard?  If not, where is it?

The nods to somewhat a couple of seminal hentai animes and Akira in the picture were amusing.  I'd of course wonder why Hitomi would actually have those around, but hey...

Do we have measurements for Hitomi?  She certainly seems up there.  Is Erin still the reigning queen of boobage in this comic?  I seem to remember Jacqui being #2, but then again we never saw Pearl's measurements either. 

Here's hoping for some clocktower-inspired hanky-panky soon. 

PK can answer that definitively, but I believe that Jacqui's may be slightly larger in volume, but Erin is definitely the highest bust/waist ratio (we keep track of the important information here at SJI Central).

I can confirm that Erin is still the bustiest...the, ah, front-runners are Jacqui, who is very close, Miriam/Pearl, who is the same as Jacqui (but her waist is smaller), Hitomi, who is also in that neighborhood, and Claudia' right-hand girl from the splash page (who has a name, but I can't remember if it's been confirmed or not, so I'm going to leave it alone). I don't have any specific numbers, but that's how they work in my head when I'm drawing them.

Just in the interest of fairness, Claudia's left-hand girl's are the smallest, followed by Laura's and then Mallory's (who aren't exactly small).

Some *ahem* side-by-side comparisons might be helpful, ifyouknowwhatimean.

However, PK's analysis leaves me with something of a question.  Was Erin just being a smartass in "Not a Close Family Part 1" when she joked that Pearl was a size or two larger than her mother?  I was under the impression it was half sarcastic and half true admiration/appraisal.

Isn't Claudia's left-hand attendant Echo?

Not to pry, but shouldn't the cheer captain be near the top five as well?  That attendant with the platinum blonde hair is Meghan.  Our fearless author confirmed it in discussion months ago, though sadly she hasn't appeared actively in any storylines (yet).

Assuming she wasn't just going for the cheap laugh (never bet against that with Erin), she might have been thrown by the bust/waist ratio.

I'll go with cheap laugh then.  Jacqui isn't thick-waisted, and Pearl isn't skeletal.  Really too bad.  Would have been a nice tease for seeing Pearl in fun and frolic somewhere.

Where does Raven live?  I think we've seen her couch in the New Year's resolution edition way back when, but I don't think we have a clear sense of where that is.  I ask because she doesn't seem to be feeling the effects of the clocktower and the behavior and parameters of that signal are of some interest at this point.
