Pilot's logbook, and red and black swirl book (whatever it is) were the things I thought of, but it could be about a continuation of the love scene through the stacks of books in Mallory's room.

I didn't really even process "121" either.

Off-book.  Rehearsal.*slaps forehead*

Remind me, what's the brunette's name again? ???

Also, where did that symbl come from?  It's not a Star of David, but a Wiccan symbol with that circle around it, right?  Closer to a pentagram?  Whose is that?  Doesn't seem like Hackberry's style.

I love (google or bing)

A star with a circle around it:

When it is inverted, with two points up, it is considered (generally by Christians) a "symbol of evil." When it has one point up, like a normal star, it is considered a "symbol of protection." Most pagans/neo-pagans/etc consider is a "symbol of protection," regardless of its position.
So She have Symbol Of Protection

Kiss me Kate!  With the pricking of my plumbs/Something wicked this way cums.
One gets the impression that Miss Erin might soon be having a midsummer nights dream.
Let the wacky physical transformations begin!

A: Shes got a tail!
B:  Is someone following her?
A: No. She Has a tail!

Why is she pleasuring Raven so much?
Dude its the golden rule!  Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.. Lesbians Live by it!
And then there was Oglaf...

And in regards to my writing.
Why was the criminal with bad grammar skills constantly in and out of prison?
He kept getting incomplete sentences.

Gotta disagree with you there.  In the first Erin flashback, she and the other woman there are talking about "that Dianic thing", and in her second flashback (which remains at a relatively high #238 on the priority list for mysteries to solve in the SJI universe) some Pan-like creature appears to have been summoned, I'm guessing during some kind of naked fertility ritual.  I think it's totally Hackberry's style.

Question is, what is she up to now?  Bringing to bear her super Wicca powers on expanding the harem?  Some other agenda whose existence we can only guess at?

Certainly her enslavement seems to have dramatically increased her openness with the ladies - first Raven, now Reka.  this person.  (I know her name was mentioned in the forums somewhere, but I can't find it for now.)

She certainly seems pretty cheerful about how life is going, which is nice to see.  I have to make some kind of arrangements in my life for hot busty redheads to run around my place with no clothes on, cheerfully sharing me with other hot roommates.

As well, so far Erin hasn't referenced Starhawk or Cunningham, or Crowley or Merlin, or Harry Dresden, or the Wizards of the unseen university, or Gandalf, or Sam and Dean ( Super natural tv series, not to be confused with Sam and Dave who performed the song Soul Man) or Naturon Demonto or the Necronomicon..
So laughably. ha ha ho ho ha ha.. um ha.  The necklace fell off Jaquie's daughter who really wasn't that astute when she started her Jewish studies and accidentally bought the pagan damned to hell confirmation necklace instead of the Star of David.  Honest mistake really.

Honest mistake.   Lets move on.
Yes?

I'm guessing it has something to do with upcoming plotpoints.

I guess my comment was inexactly phrased.  Before The Night of the Watch, and after her experience in the Show-Me State...whatever the hell it was (note, I don't think she was attacked by or transformed into a werewolf, because then she would have transformed on Harem Night instead of simply going into lust overdrive)...Erin would have been extremely unlikely to return to her Dianic roots and not keen to display them.  In fact, I'm fairly sure (maybe 77%) that this is the first time outside the guest flashback that she's shown any Wiccan clothing tendencies.  It may be of a piece with her attitude and personal flair before that trauma, but afterwards?

No, not fractured personality like Dani.  I look at this as something akin to a combination of PTSD and a defense mechanism.  In the aftermath of whatever that crisis on the guest page was, Erin's personality became frostier, her language became aggressively saltier, and her clothing choices became defensive.  She didn't wear any reminders of her Wiccan past (heritage?) and her clothes became part of her personal armor.  A series of bad relationships didn't help.  Her reaction to the Watch programming has been to make more and more expressive clothing choices, to become adventurous, seductive, and well, happy.  If we take the pentacle as part of herself from before the Incident in Mo., the experience with the watch has had something of a healing effect because it has made her more comfortable with all parts of herself (which is odd, but I like it).

Different aspects of the same scenes stand out to us.  You wonder about the intention behind the conscious act, and how that might affect the plot in the next two to fifty or more episodes depnding on shading.  I got caught up in the fact that we'd never seen her thus adorned and wondered if her personality had changed, or if perhaps some of it was being revealed as the armor is being stripped away (because, for the moment, it's not needed).

If the pentacle has actual power, then yeah, it could be physical or magical armor.  However, if it's a true outward expression of her whole self (a self she's let no one see at Wilmot first because of the Incident in Missouri, then it represents her freedom to display and acknowledge her whole self freely, and the emotional armor of sarcastic suppressed rage, aloofness, and liquor is being discarded.  She's still sarcastic, but there's joy and if she's feeling free to incorporatre her Wicca self, it's of a greater fullness than she's let herself experience in years.

There's another short, hot, redhead, from backwoods Missouri who's going to Wilmot at the exact same time Erin did?  Possible, but a lot of complications arise.

The thought did just cross my mind that it may not be Erin in guest pages 2 and 10. I don't know where that thought is going.

There's a philosophical question of how much one can change before one is an entirely different person, but... well, that's Erin.

I still occasionally have nightmares about that question from my Philosophy 102 class lo these many years ago--even though the assistant prof who taught it was easygoing and interesting.  Maybe her attitude and presentation reflected the fact that she was still a PhD candidate at the time and not a fully fledged prof.  Anyway, glad to have that confirmed.  It cleans up one layer of possible confusion, but there are still layers fo subbasmenets and warrens to trap us if we let them.  Fortunately, that's a fun exercise.

OK, now I'm just waiting for George Washington's Axe to show up in the story somewhere.
