Could be that, could be the Watch, could be other games in El Magnifico's apartment.  Or, it could be a revisit on the other perfumes as Vik is forced into drastic action or Laura has an idea about how to spice up her first time with Adrian or a subsequent Girls' Night.  Really, this is a bewildering title.

Also known as visual hallucinations.  Okay, I don't understand this.  Hayley thinks the migraines, possibly including fantasies or hallucinations are caused by her link with her sister, with Amy's promiscuity.  I think she has it backwards.  The people (mostly women) who are sexually active aren't feeling pressure from the belltower transmissions.  Those who abstain are.  And yet, those suffering symptoms have it backwards.  Odd.

First of all, it's good to see a sort-of half splash page.  Very nice, even if it is a hallucination.

Secondly, what I'm most curious about here is whether the popup text has any additional meaning - I think it's unlikely that Marliese is the one nursing Hayley into sickness, but it's an interesting popup nonetheless.

I don't think the belltower is affecting only those who abstain from sex - there were two diagnostic codes in use.  The one Marliese used for Hitomi was used once she had established Hitomi was a virgin - there was a line about the Annunciation that sort-of confirmed that.  The code most of the other patients were assigned was for 'headache associated with sex'.  I do agree, though, that it's weird that Hayley thinks Amy caused this.

Hayley's comments are..confusing, maybe becuase she's confused by everything swirling in her noggin.  However, one thing we can see.  Cait, Marliese and Amy all live on campus.  None of them have headaches.  Is that because the Watch programming is stronger than even the full blast roommate coupling signal the belltower is putting out?  Which brings me to the next question--just how universal is this programming.  It seems to cut across family ties to foster attraction even between sisters...which would seem to be a mighty powerful signal...rather like the laser from Real Genius.  Anyway, Hayley's comments make an already perplexing situation...even more muddled, to say the least.

It seems that Marliese has only been slowly refining her diagnosis as the epidemic takes hold.  At first she thought this was sex-related, then she ran into Hitomi and a couple other cases that complicated matters.  She helpfully suggested that they get TLC and basic medical care from roommates, but no one told her that they were fantasizing about their roommates.  Maybe this is the second level of exposure to the belltower's signal.  Migraine headaches first coupled with genral arousal in first 48-hour period.  Fantasies in second 48-hour period.

I took Hayley's comment more along the lines of "insanity is hereditary, you get it from your kids".  She thinks she's getting a headache because her sister Amy is doing something she thinks is colossally stupid: dumping her boyfriend with no warning and jumping into a relationship with a new guy who seems to be dating every girl in sight.

It does look like there's something in the college making roommates attracted to one another.  It's possible the headaches are a side effect of some kind -- resist the attraction and get pain, give in and get pleasure?  Need more data.

Well, the Belltower experiment in '83 that Patrick and Miel participated in apparently fostered attraction between male and female roommates.  This indirectly led to Adrian's conception about a decade later.

Maybe it was cranked up to level two for that and the headaches and fantasy lustiness are an indication that the signal has been cranked too high (by Erin by accident).
