It could bring out his past, it could bring out her past, it could unmask him--or it could deepen his specific connection with her over and above the work of The Watch. One thing we don't have is Jacqui's reaction to this. We see her plug in the amp and goad Adrian into doing something, but not how the music affects her. It is worth questioning how they just jumped into that song together without warm-up or warning.
