Title: "The Persuader" Post by: Daphne on August 04, 2010, 06:42:54 pm A 1960s advertising firm invents a small box that you can clip onto the back of a TV to put someone into a very suggestible trance... and one executive decides to test it on all of his buxom female coworkers.
Art by Maitre! Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: master on August 04, 2010, 10:48:09 pm Funny...that's also the plot of the season finale of "Mad Men."

Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: robbie73_ on September 11, 2010, 11:33:25 am Daphne, Instead of making comics out of EMCA stories, how about taking a comic story and making a movie out of it??
"The Persuader" may be a prime canidate for a movie "do"!! Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: blackriver77 on November 17, 2010, 02:04:07 pm 8) Look forward to this one. I can imagine wide blank eyes absorbing subliminal commands.
Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: tods1976 on November 18, 2010, 08:13:08 pm This artwork is my favorite since Beyond Rubies. Maybe better if the whole thing is the quality of the sketch.

Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: robbie73_ on January 14, 2012, 12:40:22 pm I am really looking forward to see this "gem" when it comes out, the original artwork looked great, too bad the artist could not finish it, but am anxious to see what other artists do with the story(artwork wise).
Daphne, et al, keep these great comics cumming!!! 8) 8) Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: Daphne on February 10, 2012, 11:33:25 am (http://content.mindcontroltheatre.com/dvv/open/mcc/previews/persuader-i01-p00-pvw.jpg)
Coming soon! Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: laguna85 on February 10, 2012, 01:53:40 pm The story Remind me of Public Access, Back small town only one TV channel and may only one TV show ;)
Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: Daphne on February 10, 2012, 07:54:56 pm A struggling advertising agency develops a device that hypnotizes anyone watching the TV it is attached to. Needless to say, some immediate applications come to mind...
(http://mindcontrolcomics.com/covers/persuader-i01-p00.jpg) Coming February 15th! Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: elbenton on February 11, 2012, 03:36:16 pm The cover art looks really good. I don't recognize the names Patagonico and Aljosa Tomic. Without combing through all of the existing covers, I can't tell if they have contributed here before. Have they?
Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: Daphne on February 11, 2012, 03:37:22 pm Patagonico did "Excerpts from a Found Travel Guide" and "Bibliomancy." Aljosa is new to the site!
Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: elbenton on February 12, 2012, 03:52:40 am Daphne,
I'm curious as to how those letters in Aljosa Tomic's name are pronounced with the diacritical marks above them. The "j" is probably pronounced like a "y" or something, too. I'm not very good at pronouncing those Yugoslavian/Croatian names. Could you perhaps provide a phonetic spelling of the name? (Assuming you know how it is pronounced.) Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: Daphne on February 12, 2012, 10:30:59 am Roughly, 'al-yosh-ah toh-meech," where that last 'ch' is like the last 'ch' in 'church.'
Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: robbie73_ on February 12, 2012, 10:59:33 am YA HOO, been waiting for this one since you first put up the description last year, looks like another great story from one of the most prolific writers on any site.
Great BOOBS, oh how I love a great pair of tits on all women!!!! Counting the 3 days, longest 3 days in a long time. Maybe you can have a few ladies of different colors be enslaved by the telly, an asian, an african american, an hispanic would add a lot of spice to the story, at least for me!! Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: laguna85 on February 12, 2012, 01:53:34 pm The story Remind me of Public Access, Back small town only one TV channel and may only one TV show ;)
Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: laguna85 on February 12, 2012, 06:17:59 pm Now this also remind me a moives call Looker
Where a advertising agency put subliminal note in there TV advertisement. Use Live model to get perfect look in the computer, then kill the model so do not need and pay them. Three days Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: jmundt29 on February 12, 2012, 07:35:43 pm I see the new artists are ready to unveil the first issue of this comic. Huzzah! We could make comparisons to the Public Access comic or the Yard Sale vid (what an excellent piece of work) or even Bewitched. After all, Poor Darin did work at an advertising agency. This does look promising.
Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: master on February 12, 2012, 08:07:26 pm At last, at last, at last!
Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: blackriver77 on February 13, 2012, 08:32:22 am Now this also remind me a moives call Looker Where a advertising agency put subliminal note in there TV advertisement. Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: stormrazor2000 on February 15, 2012, 08:16:33 am Yes, very well done! ;D
Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: robbie73_ on February 15, 2012, 11:50:24 am Daphne, Well worth the wait, the new artists did a FANTASTIC job on the drawings, really liked the clothes they wore, bellbottoms, leather skirts and knee high boots, even the story he read barbara, "She Did What He Wanted", which of course was made into a movie and is available at Something Weird Video, I hope.
Looking forward to the next chapter, even though it did not say"To Be Continued", hope this is not a 1 parter Daphne. ;) ;) ;) Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: robbie73_ on February 16, 2012, 08:52:37 am PK et al,Kudo's for a great story and artwork, a really nice "period piece"(60's style), clothes, hair styles etc.
Now, here's my scenerio for the next 5 chapters (hope this one will go as well as "Bearing Gifts/Found Objects" has): Rupert's next slave slut will be Deborah, since she keeps refusing his advances, so she WILL SERVE HER MASTER, one way or the other, Next will be a couple of Barbara's big titted girlfriends to be "converted" into Rupert's slave harem, After that, Rupert will install the device on the tv set in the secrataries lunch room, along with a camera to see when they are "under", he then goes into the room makes his choices and gives them their instructions, say "you will come to room 512 at 301 Park Ave at 5 PM today", when they get there, he has them watch the telly again, and turns them into his obedient sex slaves or whatever he wants them to be. Just some ideas I had for this story, keep it coming PK and all. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: laguna85 on February 16, 2012, 09:22:00 am Some this remind me a little web site call Mind control theatre, a video call The Yard Sale of hell houes
Old Tv set turn ladys into sex slave and part a sex group or sex harem. he set up group to sevice traveler people. Why use the lunch room when he have room full of tv set. He can ask lady to goto the tv room and take a look at something on the tv. close video and sound with microphone. it may not need to be a ladys also be man. Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: ramac on February 16, 2012, 03:44:13 pm really great love this one
Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: powerpossum on February 16, 2012, 06:06:09 pm PK et al,Kudo's for a great story and artwork It was a great story, and great artwork...I had nothing to do with it, though! This was all Daphne, Patagonico, and Aljosa. Congrats to everyone involved. And great ideas for the future; thank you anyway! Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: robbie73_ on February 17, 2012, 10:19:15 am :-[ :-[ :-[ Daphne, My apologizes for my error that Plutonian Knight worked on The Persuader, eve though he works on a number of comics, it's easy to get mixed up.
I hope this story will continue and that Rubert makes a harem full of sex slaves(every man's dream, or nightmare, depending on which end he finds himself on). As I mentioned to PK, I had some ideas, perhaps along the lines of your story, even if not Daphne, any story you write is always good for at least 2-3 chapters, if not more, and I hope this one will be as sucessful as "Bearing Gifts/Found Objects, Hidden Knowledge, and others that have had more that a "one shot" at fame. Keep them cumming Daphne. Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: Technophyle on February 17, 2012, 02:07:13 pm PK et al,Kudo's for a great story and artwork, a really nice "period piece"(60's style), clothes, hair styles etc. I actually find it a bit temporally-confusing. The male characters look 1970s: hairstyles, bell-bottoms, the wide collars, while the women scream 1960s with the big hair that's short in back. Not that this surprises me. I can't remember how many parties and such where someone claims they're in a costume that's supposed to be from the 1960s, but actually look like they walked out of a 1970s magazine. Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: Michael Moorman on November 14, 2014, 03:51:33 pm I hope to see some more about Deborah to put her under his full control
Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: Michael Moorman on November 16, 2014, 02:41:10 pm In all of the storyline is great the way he is hypnotizing women and the art work all of the women look so real is well worth coming here I like to see more of the women being nude even in this storyline or in the restroom both male and female bathrooms.
Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: Michael Moorman on November 17, 2014, 04:19:25 pm the persuader I like to see where the storeline go 100 years in the future
Title: Re: "The Persuader" Post by: carmel0 on November 23, 2014, 12:31:08 pm Great story...lotsa good subplots to explore in the future...a.) what's in store for Deborah; b.) what does his boss "understand"; c.) Heidi's efficiency as his secretary; d.) Patricia and the professor; e.) and of course the afternoon breaks with Barbara. Looking forward to the next story.
