What are they talking about here before things get physical. small scene? Is he talking about a scene for a particular rock subgenre here (and not a person named Athens). City of Athens--does he mean the Greek capital, or one of the towns in the U.S. named after it...the one that immediately pops into my head is Athens, GA. I don't recognize that song she's singing, but I assume Michael is the lead singer of the band. Assistance would be greatly appreicated. What "scene" in Athens is he referring to? Where would REM have been labeled in '83. I honestly don't think that's George Michael, because that would have been back in the last days of WHAM! (I think).

Our experience of Kearsage proper (aside from the main drag) is mostly run-down looking alleys and brick buildings. Not a lot of natural beauty present.
