Linda seems to think of herself superior but Camilla, in prior chapters, seemed to understand that humans are perfectly capable of defending themselves in the long game? I tend to read these for the sexy times not the thinking times but I also understand that as a writer only ever writing smut (particularly of fucking contextually) would get old fast. It certainly poses that kind of universal horror question.... what's the real monster among us (humans) if not ourselves.
