I really liked this issue. Free Use is just so neat.

Is it the house? Is it him? Magic? Technology?

We still need to wait...

I'd love to see my Spanish fellow drawing some traditional hypnosis comic.

I feel like that line about washing her hair was added specifically to address the wig discussion in the last thread.

Her line about his amazing ability to get women into bed, at least once, makes me think her ex does have mind control powers, but they have some sort of limited time to imprint.  So he could talk her into exhibitionism and free use and that stuck, but he couldn't prevent her from leaving him, etc.  I think the house is just a house. :D

I think maybe this thread should go in the main User Manual section?

Anyway, my theory is that the ex-husband was trying to mind-control her but failed, and the new guy figured this out and succeeded.

I have a crazy theory that the title is in some way relevant (way out there, I know!)

I'm not seeing any connections between the title and the story so far, so I'm not sure how they'll eventually link up.

The line about the ex being able to get women into bed once suggests that if there is a power being used, it's one that's temporary, and not easily renewed once it wears off.

The repeated mentions of the ex's desires for the relationship being fulfilled in the new living arrangement could be a sign that he tried something slower that only kicked in after she moved in, or it could be to establish that this behaviour is entirely new to her rather than some long-held kink or buried fantasy she never had the chance to explore in her previous relationship.

I think it's pretty clear that the male lead doesn't know what's going on (or is very good at playing dumb) so it's likely that it's not him, but the first part established that he only inherited the house recently, so it could be something there he doesn't know about (which would also make sense of the many bedrooms - a place to store the live-in sex-dispensers).

I suspect the two issues both ending with the same line ("I'll be here") isn't a coincidence either, though whether it's significant to the story, or just a rhyming structure is an open question - that may get further light shed on it by issue 3, when that emerges.
