And off in a new direction we go! ;D  That tableau seems to be the endpoint of the Adrian and friends gathering at the actual SJI (for now).  So, things this could be--we could be going back to

1. Jacqui, Laura & Amy or
2. Kanti and Querek  or
3. Vik's story  or
4. The effects of the transmission are felt or
5. Sawyer's muscle visits Jacqui's ex and his protector

but this feels new.

Maybe this is the return of the Princess Pink twins or the story of the dancer who saw Erin and Adrian at Sharkey's before she came into work.

And it was new. Zenon's supplies got raided...though for what and by whom I don't know.  I don't even know who these two women are.  I can't imagine Marli cheating on Mallory or the new group.  Is this Hayley and someone new?

Also, what's with the paintings of the castle in the hallway and the...I can't even tell.  Looks like a bewigged aristocratic woman in the bedroom.  The tenant's ancestor several generations ago?

Zenon's the doctor's first name.  His last name is worse than Coach K's last name.

I couldn't imagine Marliese cheating on Mallory or the new collective, but apparently, I'm mistaken.  I have no idea who the blonde is.  Amy is with Laura and Jacqui.  The harem is accounted for--I don't know about any other blondes.  Maybe a new character?  Odd.

It was indeed Hayley who completed Adrian's transaction back then. Rain first appeared in ep 101.

Okay, the art has evolved considerably and beautifully since we last saw Hayley.  It didn't look like Maddie.

I forgot to ask about the musical instruments, even though I did ask about the picture of the castle and the woman over the bed.  Is this Marli's place?  Or is Hayley a music major?  Confusion!

Also, the dynamics here bewilder me.  I had assumed (stupidly as it turned out) that Mallory and Marli were exclusive before the introduction of the watch.  Was Marliese cheating on Mallory with Hayley before the watch?  Was it an open relationship?  Is this now part of the harem recruitment drive that Laura and Amy have been hinting about?

Also, what the heck did she obtain from Zenon's office?  I didn't see what was in her hand or what she put down.

Last, Vikram said he was going out with Amy--is that Amy from the group, or a different Amy?

You *did* get that the blonde woman in 113 is Rain, not Hayley, right? (See above.)

Okay, that's...well, hmm.  What does Rain actually do? ???  We didn't get much context except that she and Jacqui know each other from a few years ago.  Is she a musician, or an assistant professor of music?  How do she and Marliese know each other?  Why would she know or care about Zenon and his projects? ??? ??? ???  I confess I'm at least as confused now as I was before.  All my previous questions about Marliese and her pre-Watch relationship with Mallory are still relevant, just with Rain as the focus instead of Hayley.

Their discussion and its tone would seem to suggest that a connection to Jacqui's disgraced ex-fiance is what they share (at least that's how I read it).  I still don't know if Tarbox is the Fiance's last name, or the last name of his protector/benefactor.

It would seem that the purpose of lifting whatever-it-was from Zenon's office was to spy on him and also somehow thwart his efforts.  A mere patient list wouldn't do any damage.

Well maybe, if Mallory and Marli take the time to erase that programming, but remember Derek's victims all have the same trigger and the Doc knows the trigger, he's the one who planted it.  Getting that information might help the harem, but it would, at most, mildly inconvenience Zenon and Claudia.

I think we need an answer from the author on this.  The pop-up text for Issue #97 "La Retour" reads:

"And maybe giving them all the same trigger was not the greatest idea in the world, hmm?"

Now, this is half a joke, but I read it as having a kernel of truth.  Zenon used the same trigger with all his female patients.  The interrogation from #114 showed us why.  He was under orders to make Derek's search for The Watch....er, Derek's "field research" easier.  If they all have the same trigger phrase or sequence and he has dozens of female patients, he'll have it memorized.  There's nothing to write down, there's nothing to secure.

A patient list could be a useful targets list, but presumably that's available to Amy on the computer when she schedules appointments. ::)  I don't know what Marli stole.  I know it's important and Zenon keeps it secured.  It probably has something to do with his part in Claudia's plan and preparations, but it can't be a triggers list since there's only one trigger.

Thanks.  *facepalm* Looks like he made the decision to effectively end Derek's research when he learned about the breach.

ETA--However, I'd have thought that you'd actually have to assign new triggers in person, so this was a future plan of action, not an actualized security measure.  And again, given the exchange, I'd have thought this would mean a protected computer file that Amy would create, not an actual piece of paper kept in a wall safe or at Zenon's house.
