I seem to be stuck in an error state, only getting "This is a bad place.You shouldn't be here." even after clearing cache and switching browsers. Any ideas?

I believe it should be fixed now. There was an issue rolling out phase 4 where some player's state did not get correctly reset. Sorry for the inconvenience!

I have encountered the "This is a bad place" screen if I use my save file where I've mind controlled Emma into loving me, and then have the option to have Renee give a bj in the bathroom, flash her tits, or talk to me about Dante and Lorelei.

After all those scenes,  and I go to see Lorelei, if I attempt to give her the ring after "hearing more details" is when the screen for "This is a bad place" appears. I only discovered this because I had hoped this particular path might lead to a "Lorelei boon" moment as Hereno has pointed out in the other thread but alas I may never know.

Hopefully this at least corrects a clear bug.

I believe that this problem should be fixed now, although it's a pretty tricky one. Let me know if it continues!

Chatting in the coffeeshop with Emma:

Most of the time you know she broke up with her boyfriend from the conversation the day before.  At the coffeeshop she can also say that she dumped him.  In response to her saying that you can again ask about her relationship status.  I've seen this in more than one scenario.  The current one I have up is: kneeling skirt when asking you for coffee, (opening speech says no boyfriend), choose next week when back from Annie, then one of the options is "her new guy dumped her. By the way how's ... yours?"

This is barely an inconsistency, but...

It's possible to never tell Allison about Annie's follow-up texts and requests, if you decide against going.


Then if you visit the restroom before the kitchen, Renée will ask about Annie, claiming that Allison mentioned a possible trip while you were in the restroom.


Note the line "smart not to go, that sounds like a crazy situation," which doesn't seem like a reasonable response to simply hearing that Annie texted you late the night before (which is all Allison knows at this point). Renée making reference to the concept of you going to see Annie seems like a small plot hole.  She might of course have a different information source and be lying when she says she heard about it from Allison. In this particular playthrough you didn't text or call Lorelei so the information wouldn't have come from that vector, for what it's worth.

Confirming that Allison didn't know:  the next morning over breakfast if you don't fuck Allison right away you can tell her about Annie's request, which surprises her.


The conclusion I would draw from this is that Renée knows more about Annie's situation than she lets on, certainly more than she was able to learn from Allison. Maybe that's not an inconsistency! I dunno. Seemed worth pointing out.

It's kind of interesting that depending on your choices, it might be that you tell Lorelei who tells Dante who tells Renée, or it might be that you tell Renée and Dante who tell Lorelei. Though that assumes that if Lorelei complains that you didn't tell her about Annie when you see her on Thursday, it's because she learned about it from Renée and Dante, which now that I think about it doesn't really make sense timeline-wise, so I guess Lorelei's knowing about it by Thursday morning must be attributed to her clairvoyance.

As timeline advances and the gamestate gets more complex harmonizing all the different possibilities becomes exponentially more complex. I suppose that's why, after seeing how complex Phase 4 is, I have to assume the game will end around Phase 6 or 7: the game's timeline will surely include Saturday and the party, bare minimum, and there's no way a single Phase could include Thursday night, all of Friday, AND Saturday. But the game continuing on with this play-by-play going into the following week seems unlikely.  (Maybe there will be an unlockable post-credits sequence where you enslave Marianne the HR lady, Monday morning.)

While I'm dithering on, I want to observe that it's very clever the way the appearance or disappearance of options in different circumstances signals information about the gamestate. I'm thinking specifically of how, if you're hypnotized by Renée, you don't get to choose how the coffee-shop-restroom sex goes, but there are plenty of other examples.

I dont know if this is just me being crazy but it seems like we have lost all but one way to use the voucher. I have tried 20 different runs with getting the voucher and now the only time it shows up to be used is after you leave reenes place. Once again it may just be me losing my mind and picking all the wrong things but i feel like repeating things i have done on previous runs to use it before entering reenes and it no longer showing up seems a little weird. If this isnt true then this post can be deleted.

On a run where you have rejected Annie.  I've hit two things.  One maybe intential, in the car on the way to Renee and Dante's Allison explicitly said, unprompted, that she did not want to go to an orgy.  Then when the party comes up she volunteers that the two of you would be happy to go.  This might be some else influencing her, but thought it worth mentioning.

Second, at the coffee house with Emma (blue skirt, kneeling picture), you have a planned Sunday brunch, she's interested in the play party, you have the option of "work still stressing you" or "dinner with good friend".  'Dinner' should propably be reworded.

Then same run with Renee.

Looking forward to the party: Renee says she wants to fuck Allison while you watch, with someone else servicing you.

Next options has "anything you would like to do with me?"  She just told you, so should probably be "anything else you..."

On a space snake run, when in bed with Allison after dinner with Renee & Dante, you can ask her questions.  After asking her if she really wants a boob job she asks you how big.  After picking any of them from "their fine now" to "watermelon", you can explore her being your sex-toy, in that you ask again and you say "just a little bigger", no matter what you just told her.  I know the text acknowledges that this has already been asked, but the inconsistancy is that you've already stated your preference and now contradict yourself.


ETA: specifically those are ignore the texts; no blow job; ask question; boob job; explore sex-toy.  If you add in other questions first, sometimes you say other things.  Running through that scene with looking at the texts; texting Lorelie; blowjob; cheating; boob job; as they are; explore sex-toy; you will say Renee sized.

Clearly something is getting set oddly.

More of an inconsistency than an outright error, but it seems that the MC has trouble keeping to his opinion on Allison's breasts. In the last night, when asked by Allison, he can answer that he would like her to choose a larger size - but then if you ask her on the very next choice he says "just a little bigger." Not sure if this is intended, but it seems pretty jarring.

Minor typo. During a sex scene with Lorelei in which you've decided to go to Annie, declined the party,  but have Annie at least by text as a sex slave and Allison has called you master since Dante and Renees dinner party. You pick between eating her out or having her go down on you. If you eat her pussy you're given a great scene but you typed "wish" probably intending "with".

Just following up what Ch1mmy posted in the flow thread, since the release of 4.0.17, none of the hypnotism routes I've been running, which worked in 4.0.16, are working such that I can hypnotize Emma nor Renee in the cafe, is this intended?

It is definitely possible to hypnotize either one in 4.0.17. There may be changes to the paths since other paths were closed off in earlier releases.

There's another issue I've been running into, but I lost the image - when having sex with Lorelei on the last day, on runs where sex with the MC is addictive (including the orgasmic cum) there's a line something like "a girl could get addicted you" where a "to" is missing. Not sure if this is a bug or not, but I am noticing situations where the set of options on different pages is non deterministic.  (Not just the ordering, but the actual set of options that are available)

I first noticed this on an anal run, when you and Allison are having sex after the dinner with Dante and Renee.

I created a save point right right after "there's something I want to do to you"

Different choices appear when I reload the page.

(Perhaps there are some state variables that get changed down stream and these are impacting the options available in the before times?)

That shouldn't ever happen, and I can't see how it could in the particular case you mention. If you can paste in a few examples of the choices changing with just a reload on the same scene, that would be very helpful.

Not so much a bug with the comic, though I did notice some and I'll have to play through to see if I can reproduce it. The inconsistency I note is that Starter Marriage is poised to release next week and is featured on the calendar, but not the coming soon section on the front page. Also, I understand things change, but the calendar feels pretty empty as you only fill it week to week.

Yes, that's a limitation of the system right now (comics and things like Starter Marriage are handled differently under the hood, and some things like the front page aren't fully up to date on them).

Is there a randomness element to the game? I ask because I was playing with some save states seeing what different choices gave me and in a controlled environment I was able to get a different image result with the same choice

If I can find a way to reliably duplicate it I will but at the moment it only happened once. My basic thought is one of three things happened, 1. Randomness existed (confirmed doesn't exist by Daphne, 2. There is a bug with savepoints, 3. I messed up somehow. Unless I can reproduce the bug it would probably be a waste of time to try and chase down.

Here's an odd one found while trying to explore choices I don't usually opt for:


Options given are text Allison, text Paula, text Renée back. However the game hasn't indicated that Renée texted you (there was a buzz last night you ignored in favor of screwing Allison). Also, you just met Lorelei the day before, spoke about Annie and how you turned her down, and then had sex.

Actually I'm going to include the full path because there's a second weird thing, which is that at the end of the pre-dinner conversation, Allison goes off to 'freshen up' before dinner. Cut to her naked at dinner, which goes uncommented on, which seems like a text fragment which should appear doesn't (though of course I can't be certain).  And finally I see a typo in one spot just now, yousay for 'you say'

Gotcha.   In some of the other scene's it actually looks like the bedroom might be hung off the kitchen.

I am now wondering whether this is all taking place in New Orleans (since the New Orleans shotgun houses are one of the only ones I know of they are laid out like that)

Not sure if this is the best place to bring this up, but it’s been bugging me a lot. I’m kinda obsessed with exploring all the choices and permutations in this game, and the slow text loading is super annoying.
