Plus it makes sense for her internal programming to bleed out to the external world like that.

That would make more sense to me as a way of conveying that Miriam's programming is being picked up by Raven, rather than us "hearing" Raven saying those words for the first time over a picture of Miriam saying them again. I'm less sure that it makes sense that this bleeding out is happening.
