I think this is just an understandable clerical oversight from a very busy day.

That was simultaneously a very beautiful and interesting sequence and managed to maintain the cloak of mystery on the rift between mother and daughter.
One question, that panel with Pearl/Miri...is that a flashback to what she got Mystery Fiance busted for, or is that her introduction to Barsimon Hall (possibly with the introduction of Sample 49)? It would seem like a flashback, because she's in a skirt with a hat instead of slacks with a bandanna, but it pays to be certain. If that is a flashback to the incident that got Mystery Fiance busted, is Jacqui ticked because she was humiliated and not informed about it first or is she mad that her daughter didn't let her execute an Old Testament form of justice on the offending betrothed for cheating on her with a naked blonde? ???
