I'd assumed the similar D/s overtones with Caitlyn/Hitomi and Laura et al indicated it was related to the apparent drugging, but maybe not! It's certainly true that Miriam was actively taking over Heidi well before this, as was pointed out.

I suppose it’s possible according to “zenon” in the 900s; the effect of the watch is permanent, but if you know the patterns, you can change things
