Art is not to my liking, and mc isn't really there yet for me. Of course, i should know by now to give Daphne the benefit of the doubt. But so far it's taking more "benefit" than usual.

The main characters don't quite look the same from page to page and it makes it a bit confusing. This inconsistency added to the disjointed nature of how the story was conveyed in the comic. I couldn't tell really what was going on with the guys affair. It looked like it was maybe just some random woman he hooked up with? It was hard for me to follow personally.

I also have a bit of an issue with the art. There's definitely some inconsistency, but to me the big issue is excessive facial detail and cross hatching. I think it was supposed to make the comic dark and gritty, but to me it just makes the women look kind of wrinkly and unattractive. |
