To be clear: the controlee is free use to anyone, or to the controller only? If it's the latter, I think that's pretty similar to "default" MC erotica, no?

It can go both ways: Either a specified person or persons, or anyone.

Ok. I think this is pretty similar to the "default" idea of "I'm your fucktoy," but I like that, so I voted for the top option.

Maybe this is splitting hairs, but I picture it as their body is yours to do whatever you want with, whenever it fancies you. They may be into it, annoyed by it, unaware of it, completely indifferent to it, but regardless they are unable to do anything about it. Fucktoy implies some degree of enthusiasm, methinks.

When done right I think it's suuuuper hot but my brain isn't always able to pick up on the MC carrier wave of a given situation, which can limit its ultimate appeal. That's kinda on me though.

Literally speaking, you're probably right. Gets different shades of meaning depending on who is using it. Somewhere along the line I worked up an internal definition like "toy explicitly made for sex" and part of that is being into it, since normally people want an enthusiastic partner.

I've noticed that a lot of Free Use porn includes a certain amount of diffidence on the part of the person being used. Not that they're against it or resisting, but it's just not a big deal to them and rather de-eroticized on their part.

I missed the poll, but I enjoy various flavours of free use (world-wide effect, smaller groups, single 'beneficiary' who may not be the active controller), and I think it pairs well with mind control.
