I guess I'm just over the voyeuristic recounting of a woman detailing how she was mind controlled by *someone else* to a male character. Title: Re: Jamais Vu Post by: Daphne on May 12, 2021, 08:24:23 am Wow, and I thought I had made the plot twist too obvious! Just goes to show you.
Title: Re: Jamais Vu Post by: carmel0 on May 12, 2021, 12:18:44 pm I picked up on it, but it was subtle.

Just goes to show you. I mean the meat of the story is before the "twist" and it doesn't really recontextualize it that much... if he can hypnotize her, why is he bothering ruining some professor's life unless he actually did that? Title: Re: Jamais Vu Post by: lancehunter on May 12, 2021, 06:09:51 pm Don Lomax's particular style of exaggerating the human form has such a sense of texture to it. It was a bit much for me in The Bed Where It Happened, but I think it worked well here.
