For series I especially like, I download the image files or PDFs for offline viewing, "later"--typically when I'm trying to work out who is who.
Title: Re: How do you read the site? Post by: lifmcs on October 26, 2019, 06:22:27 pm There are periods where computer access isn't super convenient for me, so I often check out new releases on my phone. Ideally it would be PDFs on a tablet, but for various reasons I rarely get around to it.

Post by: macavity on October 27, 2019, 12:57:48 am Typically by downloading the pdf's where available and reading on desktop as this has some advantages for me, primarily ability to (re-) read off line (useful to check the story-so-far when a new epsiode comes out) and being able to combine the episodes into one document

I don't know what other options people use to view PDFs on a (Windows) laptop. Acrobat doesn't handle shrinking the page to fit on the (landscape) screen as well as the default Windows image viewer does - the text can be difficult to read. However it sometimes handles zooming in better than the default Windows image viewer so occasionally I resort to the PDF if there's some detail I can't make out. A folder full of downloaded pages is really the only way to be able to look at SJI the way you need to. Title: Re: How do you read the site?
