Ajanaia's face looks a bit off on some of the pages (2, 9, 10, 11). I'm wondering if it is just the lighting, as she looks okay later on, and in issue. To be honest, I'm not a fan of her new hairstyle either. I know Sturkwurk had mentioned Joy's old hairstyle drastically increased rendering time, so I'm guessing Ajanaia's was changed for similar reasons. The new one just looks pretty severe though, at least to me. I'm a bit sad that there was no BE content this time around, but I'm sure there will be in the future. Those are just nitpicks though. As I said, Sturkwurk's art is great as always. I love all the facial expressions on the players and their characters. Sara, Erisa and Melisande's sex-crazed expressions were great (page 7 was a highlight). Olusha has some great expressions as well, from the various annoyed/angry looks, to her disbelief on page 18. The girls all look excellent, but Olusha's probably my favourite at the moment. Thanks again for a great issue! |
