That has a tendency to blunt the impact of what seems to be meant as a Han in Carbonite type of denouement.
That being said, the last little panel here is... rather intriguing. Wasn’t sure what to make of it at first, but finally settled on something akin to that *super* creepy scene from Angel’s “Smile Time” episode where the puppet is puppeting the puppeteer. Cherry’s been a very bad, bad girl (https://youtu.be/EVBsypHzF3U?t=284), but it may yet not be entirely her fault.
