Though I'm not sure those two stories are connected in any way more than that resemblance at this point in time. In the photo shoot, the "camera" or the "equipment purchased" changed her body and her attitude from what we are lead to believe. Rather than something that Chris did prior to those events. You're overthinking this. He said there'd be a photo shoot slave, and there is one in the story.
