So is that Vik's cop we're seeing within the monster this time?

This is a difficult storyline to feel involved with because we don't (yet?) know any of these people, and the monster appears to be a relentless storm of violent death who is not going to be that easy to like. The only sign that that may not quite be the whole story was the curious reaction of the other security guard when she gazed upon the scene in the room where the monster was believed to have gone.

At this point it's hard to see where this is going, or why. It doesn't feel like anywhere fun (although the art is great). I suppose Aiken's going to arrive sooner or later, so maybe Erin's premonitory dream in 510 could be about to come largely to life.

This feels like a Species + Carnage X Magic situation.

Vik's is the red monster?

Man, I hope not.  The only positive thing about the whole red monster arc so far has been no more Vik.
