Some good news for our customers about bonuses!

In the new system, bonuses will be available indefinitely, if you were a member during the month of the bonus. This means, for example, if you were a member in June 2017, you'll be able to view the bonus for June 2017 even after that month is over.

This will be true of both future and past bonuses.

It will take us a while to get all of the past bonuses restructured and uploaded into the new system, so they won't all be available from day one, but we'll get them loaded...

omg this is so great ;D there had been months were I forgot to download the bonus and missed out  ;D

Let me tell you, about 3/5ths of the code in the new system is there to support this one feature. :)

Happy to hear My hard drive that had the pass bonuses comics cook, so I lost them.

3/5 of the code, so by the effed-up squares law, 9/5s of the bugs. If you are asking yourself how 9/5s is even possible, you need to write more code.

Is there any way to gain access to bonus' from months before I joined?

It doesn't sound like it but I hope.

Currently, no, sorry. We're considering having a way to buy past bonuses, but no firm plans right now.

That would be wonderful.  Many of the previous bonuses are really great, and it would be a treat to see them available again!

Just read about previous bonuses being available if you had a membership at the time.** Had one of my favorite bonuses on my old computer before it went "kaput".

Will Catherine's story (the BeyondRubies special) be available?
Can the specials only be downloaded if I have a current membership?

if you go to forum and click on About bonuses may answer your question.
to check your membership you will need go to the main comic site and top page you see you account (if you log-in) click on it
see Subscription and clip on how you pay for your membership
will give a list of month that you pay for.

if you was a member when the bonuses came out you  get now.
back main comic site  and down to bonuses area and click on the comic.
when open up and see download you OK (but if do not sorry you did not a membership at the time)

Otherwise, you probably need a current membership (which is on special now for $9.95 for a trial week).

Just to get our terminology right, a "bonus" is one of the (usually-monthly) issues that is available only to current subscribers. A "special" is a separate thing that is purchased separately.

Catherine's Story (and all the other bonuses) are available now, if you were a member at the time it was released, and you are a member now. You do need a current membership in order to access any bonus.

Going on record as saying being able to complete my collection with the bonuses from before I became a member would be fantastic and definitely worth some extra money from me.
