I have eclectic states. Although this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZS_CQkPavyc) is my personal definitive version of the song.

Looks like I made a good guess in the prior thread.  Danielle is in the mindscape and she does not look happy.  I guess now we're playing double or nothing.

Mine. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8Mdl9C909M) I like Wall Of Voodoo but incredibly Stan Ridgway is best known over here for Camouflage.

That's a very attractive choker Erin's wearing. Is the gap supposed to be the style, or is it an indication that she isn't quite in its grip? I bet it's the bloody latter...

I guess now we're playing double or nothing.

Well Dani's not going to see the watch with those eyes. Hard to know who exactly is responsible for her look here.

The choker looks like a symbol of control, particularly given the repeated watch images along the right side.  The metaphorical implications of it locking closed are hard to avoid.  Add that to the next panel where it looks like the Jakobite is merging with Erin and things look bad for our heroine.  If Danielle is the cavalry she may be too late.

At first I wondered if the Jakobite could hear Danielle; a plot arc where Jakob has a grip on Erin but doesn't know that anyone else knows about it would open up some interesting cat and mouse games.  But the Jakobite sure looks like he heard her, so I guess we're in for a face-off instead.

A further thought.  Until recently, we thought that Watch programming was not reversible.  In the dreamscape sequence Daphne pointedly indicated that it is.  Why would she do that now?  Watch programming being reversible does two things that are relevant to the current situation.  First, it means Erin is under a real threat; her existing programming won't protect her.  Second, it means that even if the Jakobite succeeds in reprogramming her here she can be rescued.

Also, in the larger sense it means the harem isn't stuck as the harem forever... which certainly undermines some of the previous understood things about the current situation.

There could be a subtlety to it, though; perhaps mucking about with emotions is less fixable and more permanent than simple commands, and based off of the last few pages Jakob might have favored the latter.

the next panel where it looks like the Jakobite is merging with Erin

I have to say, unless that's a euphemism, I didn't think that was what was happening.
