Title: Re: Con 'Fused #8 Post by: DeltaDelta on October 05, 2016, 01:24:13 am Just finished reading and I like it; the flipping of the inversion of the shadows between the cover and the final splash page was a nice little thematic twist....bbuuuttt...well, it’s very much a rounding off issue, and kind of sweet really, but there was something about it that was niggling me and I couldn’t quite place it...and then I got it; intentionally or not there is a definite whiff of “and it was all a dream” which is why I can’t really commit to it as an ending...

I'd still like to know where the transformations came from and why the girls were so accepting of both them and the constant mind control. Three at once would imply 3 active operators. But I'm just guessing. It turns out it is the repeat customer service model, rather than the auction off everyone to a life of servitude model. I'd still like to know where the transformations came from and why the girls were so accepting of both them and the constant mind control. The acceptance would be part of the mind control. That and the transformation would appear to be courtesy of the ConCom organisers to ensure everyone is a good time. Sad to see it go, just the same, but all things must come to an end in their own time. Indeed.
