Well, I definitely love the use of color on the cover art.

Sounds intriguing. I have no idea what this will be, but it must be good.

I understand the necessity of a concise, 12-page format, but some of the more recent comics seem to be a little too ambitious in terms of the amount of story per issue. In this one, I can barely tell what's going on. Neither the setting nor the characters are well defined and I can't really follow what's supposed to be happening in places. The poor writing is kind of a let-down.

I second that. I'm still kind of confused as to what actually happened. A lot of the dialogue didn't feel like it actually followed from one sentence to the next.

Creepy office guy is presumed to be following co-workers around to different clubs using a ConnectUs app.
Judy (the blond) suggests the use of a new software (SOFix) that Raffe tried to use to brainwash her to log his keystrokes to get the proof they need to go to HR.
TWIST!  Instead the SOFix goes along their email chain and brainwashes the entire group including the guy to obey Judy.
TWISTx2!  Judy gets a mysterious message that also brainwashes her.
SOFix has become self-aware and they all pair off with unsuspecting co-workers to play checkers and fantasy football online make the sexy times.

That was my take on it.

Some minor amendments in my mind:
They decide the creep was tracking them by hacking their emails, as Sue wasn't on ConnectUs
Judy deliberately (frame 3 on page 9) emailed 5 women(the brunette friend she was talking to at the beginning, Nancy, Sue, Mbaxter and Olivia) with an email contaminated with Sofix and and the rogue executable file was downloaded six times (5 girls plus the creep's hack) and installed itself as a Graphics Driver update. Judy probably didn't really believe the software had MC capability when she did so, just covered all the girls whose email accounts the creep was probably hacking.
The original version of the software designated Judy as their mistress but it mutated for one reason or another, OR took Judy over (page 9) and she amended it, to make SoFix master and all the 5 women sex slaves to any man.

Yep, that was pretty much my reading of it too. Very interesting concept would be that it will be the AI software that will hypnotise and control them as appose to a human. Would like to see what an AI would have as its mission for them all.

Judy wouldn't pay for SOfix when billed and so the software reacted by making her one of the group being brainwashed...

I needed to describe panels 1,10 and 12 more tightly for the artist and make sure what was really important in those panels stood out more. Some stuff didn't make it to the art that should have better explained what was going on.I also should have dropped one of the friends and spent a bit more time expanding on the remaining three. Can't do a good mental transformation without a baseline to compare the after against.

That was my take as well (after multiple readings), but it was so hard to untwist from the way it was presented that it kind of killed the mood.

5. And is the porno being made in SOFix's studio or is that the same office as the previous panel?
My think is in the same office, lady are walking and get film and stop at his desk to have porn fun

Page 12 turned out very wrong. Panel 1 should have been zoomed in on Judy and Kate with Nate rolled into the aisle between the rows of cubes. Everybody was to be dressed in Porned up clothes (check), make-up and hair (if you look closely Judy's hair is much, much longer)m but Judy was to have been turned into a bimbo with platinum blonde hair and an obvious boob job. Disconcerting. Recognizable characters, but more than a little off.

Panel 2 should have pulled back to show the film crew and that the cube farm was a small set for a SOFix Entertainment porno shoot.

The long shot in panel 1 makes the reveal in panel 2 totally fail and Judy's look didn't change nearly enough to sell her new circumstances and the time jump required for the longer hair and body work. I should have emphasized a close-in shot for panel one and and explicitly written that the focus needed to be on the bimboriffic Judy and that Kate needed to look like a stripper doing a sexy secretary routine.

Yeah, I think that last page was the thing that threw me the most. Thanks for the description of how it should have been.

I don't know if it would be any consolation, but after picking my way through the story a couple of times and examining other people's interpretations, I've ended up liking it a lot more.
I totally agree with both points! I guess people like a challenge occasionally, but it's obviously difficult to set it up so others aren't put off. Hidden Knowledge managed well with the encryption key (although I suspect some people found the recent key change a bit much) since it wasn't essential to understanding the story.

Incidentally, I personally have found Bill Pratt's stories in general have grown on me during two or three rereads. Nil Desperandum Geo Bill!

Thanks, but porn is like a joke. It doesn't work when you have to explain it. If you can read it later and get subtlety, cool, but no arousal is the fail. If you don't want to read it later for the subtlety, the subtlety is the fail. Three movies as examples:

Zoolander. Good film on the second or third watch.  First watch doesn't really leave you interested in a second or third watch.
Rush Hour. Good film on the first watch, but it's mostly impact and surprise. Boring second watch.
Airplane. Hilarious film on the first watch, and there is so much going on it can be watched dozens of times finding everything.
