There's another family (or a slice of one) full of gorgeous, time-resistant women. Or is she one of Jacqui's relatives? An aunt (mother's youngest sister) or distant cousin? Did she attract Jakob's attention back in the day?
Title: Re: Saint James Infirmary 529: The Life Aquatic. Post by: laguna85 on July 26, 2016, 05:33:50 am well it's look like that Miss Randail can whole her breath,

Post by: Haight on July 26, 2016, 10:13:43 am Did she attract Jakob's attention back in the day? That's definitely something I wonder about with these women... and if they have any residual programming. Title: Re: Saint James Infirmary 529: The Life Aquatic. Post by: jmundt29 on July 26, 2016, 11:10:10 am That did seem like the next question, since that poster seems to be from about the time Jakob was a guest lecturer/parasite on the campus.

My thoughts is that she was implying that Mallory appreciates women. (obviously as she was lesbian and now Bi) Title: Re: Saint James Infirmary 529: The Life Aquatic. Post by: GodWilling on July 27, 2016, 04:50:12 pm I kind of saw it as a sexual thing between the two women, because it's a picture of herself, right?

Mermaid shows go back to the '20s, but they have and do exist up to the present moment. Maybe the art was a mock-up to harken back to the roots of the acts, and not a reference to her age...though it would be interesting if the Head Librarian were nearly a century old and still a knockout. Is it possible that Mr. Ravella (whoever he was) married into a branch of her family?
