Maybe the van has a false bottom. Maybe there's more than one Princess Pink van and this is the wrong one. Maybe Rain made a mistake and the girls never got into the van at all. (Certainly we the readers never saw the girls get into a vehicle at all.)

Right we did not see get in the car or walk into the building. We will wait see where the girls gone. They assumed it was the Van.

They encountered the van on the open road. We don't know how much time passes between panels but Laura had just said that to get to where the deal took place they needed to make a right, then a left, and follow that road to where it crosses under the Interstate. So it seems quite possible that Yves's van was not the one Rain saw. But then there are lots and lots of possibilities. And, yes, amongst those is that Rain was mistaken. But she'd probably put that differently. |
