But April Fool was a very close fourth, especially since the art is so crisp and I liked the expressive (or brainwashed) faces!

Post by: ozymandias on January 05, 2016, 07:46:53 pm My vote: april fool, cloud 9, and office hours. Overall: the artwork drives these, and the people who depict mind control most effectively win. The stories are so short that they can't really be developed, so story and art have to mesh fast and hard. I love the MC in, for example, animal magnetism, but the MC doesn't come through for me. (BTW: still waiting for a followup on Behind the Door...) Good examples include The Convent of St Nicholas and Sideshow; my 3 choices above reflect that fusion.
