I have to say that is one of my personal favorites of all the covers on the site. I think I may get a print of it for my office.

I'm one of the BR holdouts, but I must say that that is a spectacular cover.  Kudos to all involved.

when comeing out?

So I have a question about the way the rubies work. It's implied (basically flat-out shown) that the growth happens very slowly all the time, but happens quickly and suddenly when the wearer is really turned on (when the rubies glow). But is there a point where the growth stops, or do their boobs just keep growing until they literally touch the floor and the woman can't even stand? Also, is there a way for the controller to set preferences? Like, if he wants his girlfriend to have a pair of DDs and nothing else, can he program it that way? Also, why does the rate of growth vary? The 2 QA girls (Gabby and I forget the other's name) started growing way later than all the other characters, yet their breasts are the most comically gargantuan.

Also, why don't the rubies change men the same way? Like I said, it's shown that every time a woman orgasms, her ruby glows and some rapid and drastic growth occurs. Monsonis wears a ruby, which allows him to stay hard for all the bimbos he fucks daily, but if the same logic applies, shouldn't his dick be like 20 pounds by now?

Let's see...

* Different versions of the firmware behave differently.
* The maximum amount of change is an interaction between the genetics of the wearer and the settings in the device.
* The ones on men are designed for more modest physical changes.

To add...

* Yeah, Nick stole prototypes.  They even had numbers.  Issue 6 talks about updates and mods and shows the techs working on them.
Then 7 has what I'm pretty sure are the final shipping products, hence them working faster.
* I remember drawing settings from 0 - 4 on a screen back in issue 3.  So the possibilities were laid out pretty early on.
* That's a "stay tuned" for sure!

Maybe it's just me, but it seems that the more the subjects resist, the more 'staid' they are initially, the greater the effect of the changes when they do happen.

Any additional information would be interesting, though. There's a reason why this is one of the flagship titles on this site :-D

Yea, both Beverly and Alice are pretty far gone already. As are Gabby and Elaine.

Beyond Rubies #13 was awesome, as alway. I can't wait to see what happens next! It is certainly helping me develop a fetish for women with long hair in those particular styles.

Also, is anyone else seriously hoping the company wins. Because I kinda am at this point, especially after that cover.

The company winning definitely doesn't have to mean the characters lose. There are women on the board, after all ;-)

Put it this way... I'm rooting for Monsonis.

Personally while I love the rubies... I wouldn't mind for an "hostile takeover" of the company from the women they sought to control in the first place.

Plus is it very rare that we see men on the mind controlled sides of things, so it feels like it would be a great come-uppance for the likes of Monsonis in a most poetic justice kind of way.
Put that way, it would be very interesting to see a Rubies companies where it is the Rubies women that end up being in charge somehow(while still keeping the other "benefits" from the Rubies).

Then again, while the mind control aspect has been since there since the beginning... it's oddly when I see one of the Rubies girl being in a dominant(however briefly considering the "current" nature of the rubies) position over another.

Maybe I'm just odd like that for wishing to see Monsonis on the brainwashed/mind-controlled side of things at the feet of one of the ruby girls now standing in a Dominant position over him and personally in control of the mind-altering effects of the rubies.

Gabby for new CEO anyone?
(I mean, she's already technically the "owner" of a couple of the girls now if I recall. Why not spread her "ownership" of others to a couple of the guys too? ;) )

Well, there's an interesting idea, but could you elaborate?

He brings her and Andrea (off screen) under his control in that issue.

I think this is the only logical move to the girls, if they control Monsonis, they control everything. Their only chance is to reprogram Monsonis's ruby to make him do what they want. If they just get the rubies off and make a run for it, how long can they seriously expect to remain free, even if they free all the women, once Monsonis is back in control, it just a matter of restoring the programming to the rubies and placing them back on the women. It wouldn't be terribly hard to sneak up behind a woman and quick place a ruby on there arm or neck, instant slave.

Even if they free themselves, it appears there increase sex drive is a permanent, Rubies or not.  When Gabby and Elaine Rubies were offline, they still couldn't control themselves having wild sex together and with other men.  It looks like they are slaves to there new desires, they will little control over there futures, regardless of the outcome.    

Also I'm not sure the women's motives are all that pure, one asks Nick if she can keep one of the girls as her own slave.  Maybe they are perfectly fine with women slaves, just so long as they are in control.

Nick doesn't appear to be that much of a "nice guy" like Gabby says. Nice guys don't cheat on there wife's, and enslave her and her friends. He's just upset he's no longer in charge of his Wife and Harem, I think if he had a chance to regain control over his Wife, he be more than happy to make them all his personal slaves again.
