So, what do you think of incest in MC? (Remember, everyone is 18+ in these discussions.)

Check the combinations that you find hot and the ones you find not. Comments below, and let me know if adding "step-" in front of these changes anything.

Always depends on storyline and art or casting.  And adding "step" would broaden my choices a little "Stepmother/stepson."  There are other combinations as well "Aunt..." etc.

All of these could probably be hot if done well, though I must say I don't think I've ever read a hot father/daughter story. I selected sister/sister and mother/daughter just because that's the milieu that I find exciting/hot, but I've read hot stories featuring most of these permutations. Brother/sister stories seem fairly common, and some of those are quite good.

Not a big fan of incest (seems unnecessary if you can control the minds of others).  But a brother, step-sister scenario is pretty hot.  There is that level of trust and comfort that can be betrayed and manipulated into some hot stories.

I'm ok with Female on Female. But anything else is off putting for me.

So, I didn't vote, because I think this is largely irrelevant for me; if the MC is hot, I can ignore the incest. Step- is nice, because it takes it completely out of the mental incest space for me.

For the record, one good SF story whose name I can't remember deals directly with incest. In an alternate universe to which our hero travels, incest is how parents and children and siblings show their love for each other. And as a result, THEY HAVE NO CANCER.  It's a beautiful story... but someone how you have to get past the fact that the person you're in love with is also doing her father... and is unlikely to ever be monogamous.

Incest has its appeal because its largely taboo. If done well, it can be hotter than hell.

I have to admit, incest is one of the kinks I enjoy in erotica.  I don't know if it's the taboo nature of the act or the betrayal or taking advantage of the close family bonds and trust.........again, don't know why but it is one of my favorite kinks in stories.

Mother/son, brother/sister, aunts or cousins all work for me.    MC'ing a mother and daughter is one of my favorite storylines.

Step-anybody is OK in a story, but falls out of the incest category for me.

Of course, any of this is dependent on it being a well written and interesting story.  Never have to worry about that here though.

In one of these polls, you once had "brain bleach" as an option. That's where I am. Parent/child in particular can ruin a story for me.

Also, I don't think "step" changes anything except for with step siblings.

I don't find incest hot in itself, but it's a nice spice in the same way as cuckolding -- as a demonstration of the controller's power to obtain the otherwise unobtainable.

My feelings on the subject were expressed in this post (http://www.mcforum.net/yabbse/index.php?topic=5871.msg97709#msg97709) on the MC Forum--to sum up, while I like the idea of mother-daughter threesomes, the idea of incest in and of itself is a turn-off.  Which is ironic, because some of the better non-Daphne Hypno-Fetish material out there is predominantly incest themed.  Margo Sullivan has two videos where she gets Hypnotized and fucked by her "son;"  Jodi West, through her Forbidden Fruit company, has a video where she gets Hypnotized by her "son" to become aroused whenever he says the trigger word "beans."  And Rachel Steele has a number of Hypno-incest videos as well.  All of these feature some impressive Hypno-content as well as some really hot sex--if you can get past the incest.

I would prefer not to have any incest content in my Hypno-porn.  I think the only reason the interest in incest exists at all is that it's seen as the last taboo to be shattered.  If you'll pardon the expression.

I dunno, I pretty much only find incest hot when mind control is involved... the idea that the mc could break down such a basic taboo is alluring. There's a whole separate aspect to mcing a mother/daughter pair that incest only adds to, as well.

Those are hot as hell btw.

The only thing I put as not hot is Father/Daughter.  For me mother/son is hot due to the power shift taking place, where the child is in charge. 

Mother/daughter and sister/sister is a great way to get into incest even when the controlling male (yes I know it can be a female, but I'm male and like to imagine myself as the controller when reading MC work) isn't part of the family, simply recruiting several women from the same family for the harem.  Then the show of power and control my not only making them break two of the biggest social taboos, incest and lesbianism, can make for a great story.

Brother/sister is less hot for me, but mostly because it's the most used in incest stories.  Don't get me wrong, it can be great, I just get the feeling of been there done her when I read that pairing.

For me Father/daughter is not because of all the power and influence a father already has in the lives of his children, adding mind control to the mix just struck me as a step too far.  Oh there are the few where the daughter is the aggressor that I've enjoyed, but I only read those when it's exceptional writing for reasons listed above.

Ok, so what do we think of the current situation in By the Book? I'm a huge fan.

Or the current Pearl storyline in SJI which I find hot.  Or Sharing Economy which was beautifully done.

I think it depends on the writing and in the case of clips writing and acting.  If it's well-done, it's another ingredient that can be used well (if sparingly).*shrug*

Love by the Book, and Pearl.  Haven't been able to watch Sharing Economy though due to lack of funds  :(

I've enjoyed the bits that have shown up in "By The Book", and "The Ring Saga".  I wouldn't want to see it become a primary focus of the site (though I see little danger of that), but I certainly don't mind seeing it in the mix. 

I have to say that a mother that is corrupted so much that she no longer sees her daughter as someone she cares for but now sees her as someone to take advantage of is pretty hot, and vice versa. Serial recruitment along these lines is great too.
It's the fact that before she would have done anything to protect her and the change shows how deeply she has been modified in her personality.
Guys involved a pretty much a turn-off.
