Just a reminder, July 2019 has five Mondays, so no *Expanded Universe* on 7/29!

We really should give up on this five Mondays nonsense and switch to a 13 month year. 13 months of 28 days. One day left over for The New Year's party (Or Life Day if you so choose) and Leap Day approximately every 4 years.

Daphne makes more money. We get more content. Everybody wins.

It's been tried!

I think it would be really great if a fetish porn website could institute internationally recognized calendrical reform. Daphne when can we expect this?

You would be kind of surprised how much calendar-related code is in the new site backend… I'd be totally down with this.

Now I'm afraid that message came across poorly. It was meant to be a joke; sorry if that came across as pushy. I wasn't being serious.

And I can believe there's a bunch of calendar code in the new system, probably around detecting which bonuses you're allowed to see.

Oh, no, totally got the joke!

OMG, it's horrible. That is like 75% of the code in the "what comics can someone see" part.

Well that effort is definitely appreciated. Way better than the old "grab it or lose it" system.

Can you imagine having to write all that code in FORTRAN or COBOL? Even be a nightmare in C. We live in blessed times.

Frankly I'm trying to write less C and C++. Even on what's called an embedded system these days, they're overkill.

This strip is supposed to be Gordon moving in with Charlotte, right?  Gregor is with Lola, she of the Fucktoy choker.

Indeed.

Gordon has domesticated Charlotte, thanks to Chris setting them up.

Gregor has his hands full with Lola, Shannon's * unnamed friend**, and … possibly others.

* Okay, I think that is post transformation Shannon

** And I haven't come across the name of she in the J-shirt.

Yes, that's Gordon, not Gregor. Let's assign it to Chris being somewhat distracted by the situation.

Is there such a thing as being too good at your job?

The charming young woman in #58 is Jacqueline.

There is if there's no one else to take your place if you want to get away for vacation, because nobody can do the job as well as you.  On the other hand, it makes it harder to fire you as well.

Being indispensable can be a two-edged sword, I think.
