I feel guilty, criticizing after I've already said this is the best comic on the site.  (It is!). But...

* I'd thought we'd see Hannah again.  Instead we get the new slave, introduced in only the last issue, who looks like Hannah's twin sister and who still doesn't have a name.  (I think.  Have there been three blonde clients?  Who are triplets?). I think Hannah might be the woman Adam was sexting with on page 10.

* Similarly to the above, I thought / wondered / imagined / hoped / expected that the introduction of new slaves might occasion some final resistance in Renee.  Like, she instinctively does not like her husband bringing home a total stranger as the third slave, but her programming to herself be an obedient sex slave makes her accept...maybe with the help of one more session from Zoe...anyway, instead we see in this issue that Renee has been programmed enough and is perfectly ok with blowing Adam while he talks to a naked lady over the computer, and she's perfectly OK with sending Zoe's clients up to Adam's room.  Which is fine, I guess.  It was pretty sexy to see Renee giving a BJ while Adam talks to Maybe Hannah.

* So there's more stuff coming, in a year I guess, about Renee getting full bimbo-ified and such.  Even though Adam seems to have found the perfect sweet spot with Renee as tradwife and sex slave.  But honestly, and maybe this is weird to say after saying this is my favorite comic, it feels like "The In-Law Unit" has reached a natural stopping point.  The central plot thread has been Renee being brainwashed into an obedient sex slave who enjoys threesomes with her mom.  It's been awesome.  But now Renee's been fully enslaved, and the story is done.

* The one thing I did like was Adam telling Zoe that she was going to have to get a boob job before her daughter.  If it weren't for that one scene on one page of the first comic it wouldn't be clear that Zoe's been mind-controlled at all; she'd just be a sub who really, really likes brainwashing sex slaves.  But she's been topping from the bottom for a while now so it is refreshing to see her reminded that she is a slave.  (Presuming that she really is.)

Wow, I wrote way too much.  TLDR: Issue 12 has its good points, but not as scorching hot as much of the series.

Awesome issue, though a bit shorter than expected. Hopefully the gap doesn’t extent quite as far between this one and the next; I’m eager to enjoy Renee’s next session with Zoe now that Adam is becoming more aggressive with his desires

I'll have more to say tomorrow but I'm a little disappointed that the comic is only 12 pages.  I guess I shouldn't be, since 12 pages is the length of every other comic on the website except the first one (Obedience) and the occasional text-heavy one like Found Objects.  Still, can't help but be mildly disappointed.

I'm getting some Bewitched/I Dream of Jeanie vibes, and I'm here for it. Makes me wish we got more Confused
